latinos are from the americas, white people are from europe. ethnicity and nationality are very different.

It is also true that all those tribes had their own territories and borders.

The Latino peoples of Central and South American countries are descendants of tribes that historically lived in those regions, not in the North American regions. Even in the desert Southwest, you are talking about descendants of the Hopi and the Anasazi and the Navajo and others like them ... not the tribes that gave rise to current day Latinos.

And far from being the peaceful Utopia where no one owned the land, tribes fought over territory and hunting ground all the time.

Certain MesoAmerican tribes were bigtime into sacrifice, human sacrifice. Those pyramids ran red with human blood, and they weren't sacrificing their own. They sacrificed their enemies and war prisoners. They also kept slaves.

Humans is as humans does.

Some latino people may be descendants of native people; they are also descendants to the people who raped and pillaged those native people.

And since the Dems are pushing for the acknowledgment and apology of past wrongs that should be one that they also acknowledge.

Any one spend any time in Central and South America? They structure their social classes inpart along racial lines. A fair young woman like AOC being more Post-Columbian than Pre-Columbian sets her apart from those people who might have ligimat claim to inginouse right to mobility.

It's not that difficult to understand what she meant by the comment.

North/central american continent.... Hispanic natives are natives to this continent.. as in.. they are decedants of the the true "first people" of this land. This continent is native to those people.

Nothing more nothing less.

But conservatives need a talking point so they will misrepresent and misunderstand.

Conservatives can only "misrepresent" and "misunderstand" because AOC is being over simplistic and intellectual dishonest in order to support a position she finds politically expedient.

If she where truly awesome she would put forth an argument that was sound and not so easly picked apart by conservatives.

OK, I am open to a good idea. Do you choose to die or move? How do you propose to defend your homes and land if someone wants to take it from you or break into take your stuff and have their way with your family members?

What right do Southern Native Americans have to the lands of Northern Native Americans? That's asinine. Like saying the English have a natural historical right to settle in Barcelona, or the Italians have a natural historic right to move to Berlin.

Have you seen how some New Yorkers live mushed into tiny apartments that they pay a fortune for. No outside space, they get hive mind, and dont realize how stressed their lives are living that way. Like rats in a box. Think they are trapped and forced to live that way, and thus somebody else or the government owes them.

I've read this thread with great interest as this AOC came out of nowhere. So, what is her family like, has anyone seen what kind of parenting she had from her folks? Are they very conservative and she's rebelling against it?
What got her to be in this position? We know much about many other members, but I never hear about her background, her schooling (was she this crazy in school)? Seems to me she is a manchurian candidate in the making. Much like the former President.

It doesn't matter. Whites on this continent are learning what happens when you try to settle a foreign land. You're being integrated into the existing population. There is a constant flow of Latin blood flowing from the south.

Does anyone remember that south Park episode? That's what will happen. In the end every race will be mixed in together. In the future, whites will exist only in Europe.
