I'm glad AOC did this as it's part of public record. I'm sad that anyone would find it enlightening, however.

Pretty sure trump called this out (And many before him) She's late to the party and too low on the totem pole to make a difference. Trump on the other hand. But too many were programmed to hate him.

You are correct.
A lot lacking in education , though.
That is the way of these new-fangled schools

Gave up watching when I realised it was unchallenged nonsense. She would get ripped apart in a real debate.

I can't take anyone in politics seriously who develops there policies off of Disney park rides. This green new deal was giving me deja vu. Till I realized it was the exact future proposed at Tomorrow-land.

Like I keep saying.
Morally, intellectually, and ethically bankrupt.

Out of all "ists" lobbyists worry me the most, because its done behind the scenes. And both parties are up to their necks in it. I deride her but bravo for bringing that up, getting rid of lobbyists is definitely something public at large should be able to get behind

You mean like the 5-year ban on lobbying that is already in place, courtesy of orange man?

Interesting how when orange man does it nobody seems to get behind it. Instead, we're giving occasional cortex credit for coming up with this idea even though it's already happening.

Denial is more than a river in Egypt, clearly.

Lobbyists have increased under Trump

It's funny to watch people argue against the ability to petition your government. The same people who believe in "democracy." LMFAO.

You're both talking past each other. He's talking about the EO trump signed that prohibits people in his cabinet and other executive positions from going to lobbying firms after they leave, for 5 years. You're talking about general numbers of lobbyists and their spending.

I read this morning that Netflix are going to pay her $10Million for her story.
Being a social justice oriented socialist type, I am sure we’ll soon See it reported that she is to give it away to needy immigrant causes.......right?

I think she said alot of good thinkgs and I am an American that actually felt proud of one of our elected officals.

I would be happy to see the, "Green Deal" happen.

As for getting rid of the corruption in politics its been needed for a long long time. I would be happy to see that done too.

Then you read wrong. A documentary was made about four women, which includes AOC, that ran in November. The documentary debuted at Sundance and took top honors. Netflix then bought the rights to the documentary for $10 million. As far as I know none of the subjects of the documentary get a cut of that money. Just the ones that made and produced said documentary.

Isn't she a democrat?
The party that thrives on mexican cartel bribery, american legal loopholes, blackmail, and having people suicided?

Considering her constant headbutting with Pelosi I think it's pretty clear she doesn't walk lock-step with the establishment Democrats.

Well this would make sense considering her stance is far left of even Pelosi being that Cortez isn't even a Democrat.

Let's be honest though, there's a lot of idealistic freshman members of Congress that eventually fall in line. Will AOC become another sellout? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Sellout to who? Her fellow socialist ideologues?
