Frustrations are mounting as some Democrats have "reportedly" taken out some language in that GreenNewDeal by U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez !!

Apparently they don't want that pesky fossil fuel stuff to just disappear a quickly as She wants it to 🤣

What else will they chop away at ?

DEMOCRATS REMOVE FOSSIL FUEL ERADICATION FROM OCASIO-CORTEZ’S GREEN NEW DEAL

In what will likely be a major disappointment for the Democratic Party’s progressive base, the upcoming Green New Deal legislation will omit the plan’s lauded goal: A specific deadline for ending U.S. fossil fuel development.

New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Ed Markey are expected to unveil their Green New Deal resolution later this week. However, their bill will not include a set date for complete oil and gas eradication, according to a Politico report

Instead, the legislation will outline more ambiguous goals. A section of the text includes a call for achieving “net-zero greenhouse gas emissions for a fair and just transition for frontline communities and displaced workers,” and aims to eliminate the country’s carbon footprint by 2030 using unproven technology.

Good grief what an f*ing joke the Democrats have become. I mean, honestly, step back for a moment and just watch the absurdity spill all over everything; Crazy Maxine Waters, foaming at the mouth Pelosi, the new Native American Indian, Pocahontas, "Kumbaya Cory" Booker, Kamala Trainwreck Harris.

A panoply of the bizaare, the clueless, the radical....................HONESTLY, HAVE THEY NOTHING BETTER?

Oh, yea...........sure, creepy hands and hugs JOE BIDEN!

It is called getting b*tch slapped by reality...

Fossil fuels are why we didn't freeze to death last week. Fossil fuels are what created the industrial revolution and why our standard of living is so high. Everything down to your toothbrush is made possible by oil.

At this point, anytime the dems go out campaigning they will set up a big top tent and serve popcorn.

Might actually get higher turnout, everyone loves the circus.

The use and development of fossil fuel should be continued until the cost of renewable fuel is less than the cost of fossil fuel. Also, this should be without Government subsidies and interference that would artificially make green energy less expensive.

My favorite kind of 'green' energy is the kind that saves me green.

I'd like to see them try to make plastic out of wind or solar power. Virtually everything is made of plastic these days.
Silly people.

They seem to forget about little things like...

“The federal government collects an average of $85 million per day from America’s oil and natural gas industry,” Brian Straessle, spokesperson for API, told CNSNews.com. “We pay our fair share and then some while providing energy to families and businesses and supporting millions of jobs throughout the economy.”

The oil and gas industry supports 9.8 million U.S. jobs and represents 8% of the Gross Domestic Product, according to API.

Let's make America green by collapsing the economy and letting everyone kill themselves off!!!

Probably not going to make many friends on either side with this statement; however, in terms of cost-effectiveness analysis Ocasio-Cortez's 'Green New Deal' plan to solve climate change makes about as much sense to me as Trump's wall does to solve illegal immigration. Neither makes much sense economically nor do they actually truly solve the problem they are professing to address.

Both are ham-fisted and misguided policies that to stems from the hysteria of a mob mentality.

I remember when dems all told us Republicans that we were imploding and turning on each other. As usual, that was just another psychological projection. They're imploding.

Honestly?

One plan takes everyone's money and most of thier jobs.

In comparison, getting better border security is not economically sound?

Spending 25 billion to save 120 billion a year is bad?

The primary difference being one of them is a one-time expense equal to 1 tenth of 1 percent of US GDP, costs no jobs, and reduces annual expenses for enforcement following it's completion while the other plan will cost an initial 40% of annual GDP, plus another $200 billion per year, will skyrocket taxes, cost 1.5 Million US jobs at the low end of estimates, and will utterly bankrupt the entire country.

The real solution is to tightly stuff an oiled sweat sock deeply into every DC Democrat's mouth... the blocking of all that hot air will naturally result in a reversal of the (imaginary) "Global Warming" pipe dream and, as an added bonus, we'll all be much less angry and jittery across the entire country.

People really have no idea how much our economy and standard of living depends on oil... I am not saying we can't do things to get cleaner energy, but this fantasy that we are going to use ether to power our cars and heat our homes is just that... a fantasy.

Most don't realize that plastics are a by product of oil refining. Medical equipment, everyday items, computers, think of all the sh*t made out of plastic that we'd no longer have...

Imagine the chaos if tomorrow plastic ran out.

Sure, someone could come up with a green alternative, and I'm sure it exists to a degree, but also remember that in an effort to go green, Taco Bell went from plastic bags to formerly was a tree paper bags.

Considering we already have several cities and states who are voluntarily participating in the Paris Climate Accord. This is nothing but a farce by the Progressives to go around Trump bailing out of the PCA and tax the hell out of everyone. Instead of seeing how it bankrupts their states they want the whole country to fail.

You wont heat up north without fuel.

Sure, you can use wood- but you gotta cut it, process it, and transport it somehow.

They wouldn't care as long as they were the ones who won the election.
