This isn’t a bad idea on the surface because I am all about free choice for the individual, however, this has the potential to put adult responsibilities and decision making in the hands of children who may or may not have spent the time researching and weighing all the risks.

As opposed to putting the responsibility and decision making into the hands of adults who also may not have spent any time researching all the risks. That includes the risk of their child dying, or someone else dying, because they made a stupid decision out of ignorance.

The world is upside down. When I was in school we had to get permission from our parents for friggin EVERYTHING. This is insane. But no biggie. Again, lets just sit here and complain while all sanity slips away.
