Please, for the love of God do yourself a favor, go home and watch Velvet Buzzsaw on Netflix.

It was sooooo frustrating but so good, and so bad and funny and sick & twisted and stupid and brilliant all wrapped up into a whole bunch of really great actors and actresses including Jake Gyllenhaal, Renee Russo, Toni Collette, John Malchovich and more.

Snobbery and satire galore!

So unexpected!

Already posted HERE.

I actually found it almost unwatchable. It was well acted, but it wasn’t scary and while the characters were interesting none of them were likable which made me not care when they died.

It was a swing and a miss for me.

Yeah I could see that happening too.
For me it was like, I don't know... I hated it but I loved it at the same time.
I kept thinking it was a joke lol

You didn’t get that people were going to die in a horror movie? Really?

It was like being suffocated in pretentiousness for 2 hours while having the physical effect of slowly suffocating. I just wanted something interesting to happen so I could get a gasp of air.

I wrote a novel a while back about an old art gallery in London, where the paintings come to life. Same general idea, but the story was totally different.

My partner is probably biased, but she said that this movie was terrible compared with the plot line of the novel I wrote, and that she found the novel far scarier.

I did send it to lots of publishers, but they weren't interested in horror. Should have written a screen play of it really, given that this movie managed to get made!

Never got published.
