and for context - you need to look at the dictionary entry for liberal and conservative - there are multiple contexts to each word - very few of which are political

ie - " a liberal coat of paint ", or a " conservative estimate "

but hey - if you view everything through your political identity - then .................

If I was a lawyer I’d know... but I’m not. All I can say is that they must be breaking some sort of law or laws based on truth and truthful representation.

If you were an attorney you'd probably know they weren't.

Oh my this is pure Malarkey face painted walrus shaped hogwart's-dammit I need that book has terms like trigonometrical violence or Asymmetrical Grandfathers.

I hate these extinct apex predators-often known as the Thesaurus-people often over abuse them to seem more smarter than what they are, trust me just type what you would think you'd say in front of a crowd, it's a far more personal and simpler.

Now My dangerously unpredictable carrier pigeons I bid-SHUT UP !!!

I'm confused as to how a Rightist can be stable, steady and timid; and how Liberalism can be attributed to Catholicism.

"Catholic" actually means "all-encompassing" or "all-inclusive." It's not a name or a title, it's a descriptive word. That's why, when the Christian religion formed, the church leaders referred to the Church as " catholic" (all-encompassing or all-inclusive.) It's only in relatively recent times that "catholic" has become "Catholic" and come to be so tied to the Roman church. The original meaning still stands and is still in use.

When I think of St Francis of Assisi, I don't imagine a Fascist.

Jesus Himself was more Leftist anti-establishment than Rightist conformist.

They are the educated ones. You know, universities and liberal students and so forth. They use them all the time.

It has nothing to due with bias. It has everything to due with our current population not knowing what words mean.
As things are so available on the internet these days, few things are looked at.

It's on the Internet, which automatically means it cannot be implicitly trusted. Used to be--publication implied veracity. The earlier days of the 'Net carried this concept forward.

But it didn't take long to realize anyone (anyone) could publish facts and/or fiction on the Web. How is an online thesaurus any different? Mainstream media outlets all have an agenda, so why not a reference source as well?

That said--in this case--you may want to have a control group to help qualify your data. A good start would be to dig up your old dusty hard-bound Roget's Thesaurus and see how these words are characterized. You'll probably discover they're similar to what you see online.

I don’t believe Jesus was as much anti-establishment as he was anti-hypocrisy.
He did conform to the will of his Father, and a very tough and painful will that was.

Yes Jesus was more anti-hypocrisy however I believe He conformed to the will of His Father because it was His will, too ("I and the Father are one").

No there's nothing wrong with that, it's just that those terms have been hijacked by Americans and twisted in recent years for # slinging purposes.

Well if that's the case then it's pretty apparent who's doing the lion's share of # slinging.
