There is a reason, they are finding out where a one world government, is being willingly accepted.

They are getting numbers on where populations are accepting any thing government says.

Along with where pockets of resistance exist.

Bread and circuses...
Divide & Conquer.

Always look for the bigger picture, their agenda.

Indeed... so why lie about it?
Because of what he may have spoken to him about. Like what emails to release and when to do it for the greatest impact?

We know for a fact Russia stole them no matter what some may want to believe and we know that wiki released them to great effect. How would the russians know what would have the most impact from the hundreds of emails they stole?
They wouldn't. THey needed someone familiar with american politics to tell them. The link that they have been looking for.
