Is it really Communism if the banks and corporations control everything? Labels are just hot buttons for people to push but meaningless in the larger scheme. We don't and we won't have capitalism or communism.

And it's only the ramblings of drunk old men that call it socialism. Totally up the alt right bonespurian dorkster's azz with no idea what they are talking about. rehab might be in order for the intellectually challenged.

What we enjoy in America is a Corporate Oligarchy. All praise the new God Walton. That's not communism or socialism, that's crony Capitalism run riot.

this is 110% pure blatant hyperbolic lies

way to boost "Fake News"

and if anyone believes, after hearing Democrats and Liberals talk, that they want communism, you are either willfully ignorant to spread fear mongering lies, or you clearly have no idea what "communism" is

Obviously democrats aren't outright CALLING it communism. But it IS definitely what they want, because it contains ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS.

If I serve you a bowl of Chicken soup with noodles, but when it is served I tell you here is some tomato soup, which soup are you getting? If you are a democrat, and you are serving the soup it is going to be Tomato soup, but it sure looks and tastes like Chicken soup with noodles!

See how that works?

No, not even close to "ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS". Seeing as the main ingredient in communism is that 'all property is public owned' an no where in any democratic platform is that included. We here in the USA don't even have a socialist party like other western nations (even those are far from socialist). We have two highly corporatist parties that live and die by the almighty dollar. Ya know, capitalism. Pure, top-down, concentrated-power, capitalism.

"You didn't build that".

Remember?

What do you call it when corporations write all the laws, workers have no rights, wages are priced fixed, an nobody makes enough money to meet their needs?

So taxation is the answer to that?

... yes that’s the Agenda 21 plan they have for us. You really need to snap out of that crazy mind control you are trapped in. Oh and would you mind telling China not to pillage the planet too,

No, I wont mind doing so. Care to enlighten me with regards to mind control? You don't simply disagree with people anymore, or do you?
The moment they favor socialism must be the moment they run in circles for the elite, eh? Not every single item on the list is hijacked by identity politics in favor of some sinister endgame. Think free healthcare, for example.(???)
You need to be more specific in your blind range, ThirdEyeOfBerserk. Now take a closer look at Fck-us-hima, you really believe our way of life is sustainable? Happy accidents in an ocean of plastic, eh?

Newsflash ... that health care isn't free. Stop saying that because it's disingenuous. Even the public education isn't free. If it was, no one would ever have to worry about whether or not they could afford to live in a good school district.

Talk to the hand of Eisenhower, my dear MICes.

[...]Progress toward these noble goals is persistently threatened by the conflict now engulfing the world. It commands our whole attention, absorbs our very beings. We face a hostile ideology-global in scope, atheistic in character, ruthless in purpose, and insidious in method. Unhappily the danger it poses promises to be of indefinite duration. To meet it successfully, there is called for, not so much the emotional and transitory sacrifices of crisis, but rather those which enable us to carry forward steadily, surely, and without complaint the burdens of a prolonged and complex struggle-with liberty at stake. Only thus shall we remain, despite every provocation, on our charted course toward permanent peace and human betterment.

Crises there will continue to be. In meeting them, whether foreign or domestic, great or small, there is a recurring temptation to feel that some spectacular and costly action could become the miraculous solution to all current difficulties. A huge increase in newer elements of our defense; development of unrealistic programs to cure every ill in agriculture; a dramatic expansion in basic and applied research-these and many other possibilities, each possibly promising in itself, may be suggested as the only way to the road we which to travel.[...]

Somehow I thought it was against the t&c to ridicule people here using their screen name... but oh well it was definitely a cheap shot and it shows me what your mind is about. What do you mean I don’t just disagree with people anymore ? Or did you mean everyone like me who doesn’t agree with socialism ? Someone else here posted that communism is the goal of socialism and that is true. So let’s just backtrack and look at the track record of communism. The Soviet Union and gulags(you could benefit from reading the account of Alexander Solzhenitsyn). Here’s what Wikipedia says about gulags

Jump to Gulag · According to a 1993 study of archival Soviet data, a total of 1,053,829 people died in the Gulag(not including labor colonies) from 1934 to 1953 (there was no archival data for the period 1919–1934).
en.m.wikipedia.org... That’s lowball considering it states that doesn’t include the labor camps and probably not the massacre in Red Square. Other sources say upnto 20 million under Stalin died abd my Russian dance instructor told me the Russian ppl still hate Stalin. Ok then there’s Cuba... not as violent as Stalin I guess but a lot less toilet paper on the shelves ... yes Cuba had a toilet paper shortage, and of course there’s the infamous horror house hospitals and clinics where the patients have to bring their own sheets among other awful things. Ok then Venezuela ok its more socialist but I think you must get the picture. Oh did I forget about the bread lines in The USSR? But I guess that’s the utopia you’re looking for cause Capitalism is so horrible that we had to give Russia grain when their collective farming failed... you get the message I hope.

Is it? Or is it the same thing, just that the only reason why some idea on law is bad is cause there is an R or a D attached to the name that presented it?

The biggest problem is that people are so hung up on the politics that while they may say one thing, that they turn a blind eye when it happens, if it comes from their own political party.

And only focus on one example of why something will fail, or why it is wrong or bad, than the 10 other examples of why said idea would be a success.

From the American Taliban!

There are a few things that we can do,” Rep. Omar said in an interview with “Through Her Eyes.” “One of them, is that we can increase the taxes that people are paying who are the extremely wealthy in our communities. So, 70 percent, 80 percent, we’ve had it as high as 90 percent. So, that’s a place we can start.”

Still isn't free. How much are you getting taxed for the privilege of not having to physically lift some cash out of your pocket at the doctor's office?

Just because you don't write that check doesn't mean you don't pay.

You do know which crisis and conflict Eisenhower as referring to, right? The fight against communism on a global scale. Sort of even more disinenguous of you to endorse the ideology on on hand while quoting someone against out of context on the other to attempt to prove your point.

For decades the usual suspects have twisted Eisenhowers speech.

You should read it in it's entirety.

IV. A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction.

They ignore that part.

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

And they IGNORE the WELFARE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX is this and a hell of a lot more.

So I've asked a few of you Stalinists this question in various places but unsurprisingly never get an answer. Let's see if you'll provide one comrade.

You far left wingnuts constantly bring up the bonespurs thing. Which I dont get because for 40 years people like you have venerated and celebrated the "noble" and "heroic" men that refused to go fight in Vietnam. As far as I can remember none of you Che wannabes have ever had a problem with HOW these men did it. From disappearing, going to jail, fake medical deferments or running to Canada the left has never, ever had a problem with the draft dodgers from that era.

Et you constantly bring up the bone spurs thing as an insult and a negative in regards to Trump.

So are ALL draft dodgers cowards and such now? Or is it just Trump and all of the others are still heroes to be admired?

Either they are all scum and cowards for avoiding the war by any means necessary, or none are including Trump.

I'd say that I was eagerly awaiting your answer but considering the track record you far left Stalinists have in acknowledging this point I won't hold my breath.
