Which is why i think Trump made the remark about military options knowing full well that's what needed to happen to have those countries come out publically for the opposition. We need their neighbors to lead the charge as it appears more righteous and will generally garner more support from the rest of the world. I would expect some arms deals and other nice deals to go to the countries that help us here. We will lead their forces with our advisors and our SF guys will work with theirs to disable any support for Russians including oil/power/communications/and any other thing that lets Maduro or the Russians to command a force to stop him from being ousted. That's how I see this going down personally but you know as well as i do trying to get enough facts as civilians is basically impossible as these same facts are what entire countries Intel agencies work at getting and even they probably don't get them all with entire countries budgets and huge amounts of manpower.

I'd like to hear this interim president's decision on the Russian base before making any assumptions of what might happen.

Lol...right, however if they get maduro out and an the next guy allows the base after winning an election I would expect we would do damn near anything to remove that guy too. I see no way the US allows that base...I won't pretend I know what tricks they can use and how far they can go, I just don't see us letting it. I guess if it does happen we would have assets all over it day and night...wouldn't be able to fart without some guy from US Intel smelling it.

Maybe so...pretty sure the regime in place now is beyond fail though so I guess it won't be the end of the world. Plus maybe we get to block the installation of an air base on the doorstep of the US. If not well i guess the Intel guys will be busy.

I'm just a spectator watching the same show as you =)

Yeah.

Socialism is awesome, it's capitalism's fault that it didn't work.

Socialism would work great if any country ever actually tried it. But no nation on earth has ever actually tried socialism, because if they did, they would be a utopia by now.

At least, that's what half the people on ATS tell us every time the subject comes up.
