Don't be scared of the left man. Most are sane people and love America. And I also know you are only talking about the far-left which do want to destroy the constitution and ruin everything. But lucky for us they actually hold little power.
I myself recently switched party affiliation to the republican side but everyone I know that is not family is still left but they are not dumb. They all own guns and would happily defend others constitutional rights.

You know it isn't paranoia if they R coming after you don't you. Besides, I will be long dead when it gets real bad. In 40 years I won't care. I am worried for the kids sake. I see raping of little girls is tolerated in some cultures, boys too. That is sick and beyond sad. I think some people give these leftist communist nut jobs way too much credit.

They're simply not smart enough to understand the ramifications of their desires. There's now almost two entire generations who have no idea how the how this government was founded and is intended to work. They've been indoctrinated to believe everything is broken and there are no rules...for anything. They truly believe they have to do something "different" just for the sake of doing something different. It's a "First, Break Everything" mentality...just because.

They have no concept of responsibility. They've been indoctrinated to believe they don't have to be responsible...at all.

Having lived in this country for all of this time, and seen much, along with how the government works, the court cases, and the laws. And here is what can be stated:

Any and all programs paid for by the citizens have a socialist element to it. What are you willing to give up, and what would society look like? If you think it would be a paradise, perhaps one could look at say history as an example.


If you do not like socialism, that is fine, ok. And people will turn around and point to countries that are failing, like Venezuela, as an example, that the evils of socialism. And use it as an example.

I am tired of the fighting, cause it goes no where. So lets eliminate it from the country, since that is what the goal is right?

So here is what you can expect. Gone will be the following: No more driving free on roads, those would have to be privatized, so expect tolls, to travel on them, paying for the upkeep, in addition to the taxes on gas. Public libraries would be gone. And the cost of a letter in the mail will be go on up fully. And lets just say the cost of college will go up further, and far more. Bridges will be iffy. Oh and those levies to help mitigate flooding, those would be gone as well. And the garbage, I guess we will all have to learn to reuse, cause there would be no more public landfills, or pay a higher price. And farmers, well who needs them, the subsidies would be going. Bright note, congress will have to pay for their own healthcare now, as it would no longer be funded by the public. And you know the yearly flu, well I guess we all can take a chance, as the vaccines will now cost, and do we really need say a polio vaccinations? Well there won’t be any more regulations on the environment, the EPA is gone. And I hope everyone, who does not like socialism likes taking care of elderly family, as social security would be gone. Museums would be far and few between, all of those great works of art, would be now no longer on display. Public schools, well I guess we can set education back in the USA, and forget college, why should anyone pay for another person going to college. Public parks are a thing of the past. Course hunger will be rampant, as food stamps and many of the social nets will be gone. Medicare, Schip, Medicaid, and other public health would be gone. Good for the antiabortion movement. And medicines are going to be risky, cause the FDA would not be around that much to check on things. E-coli anyone? And if you get hurt, your family will care for you, and see to your medical well being, and no more Disability. And hey no more unemployment, as that program will also go. WIC will be gone, and snow removal will be a thing of the past. Along with the military will be severely cut, along with help to veterans.

Those things you list are paid for by the PEOPLE in the form of taxes. The People approve those expenditures in the form of budget measures. And how do they pay for these things? They have businesses and jobs, and they get a paycheck.

That's capitalism, not communism!

What you advocate isn't capitalism...it's anarchy.

I think you need to go back and study forms of government, communism and capitalism in particular. Further, you might want to look into this neat little thing called a Democratic Republic.

But before you get off your high-horse, you forgot a few (perhaps conveniently)....

There would be no law enforcement, so people could just run around and do whatever they want, robbing and killing. There would be no fire departments so entire cities would burn. There would be no EMS, so bodies would litter the streets. So, in other words...anarchy.

the left admires the chicoms because they have what the western left wants, total power and control and the force with which to punish dissenters. they would love nothing better than to set up re-education camps and throw all (well most) Republicans in. State Media would pull the plug on Fox News and most talk radio; the existing outlets would cheer same. most newspapers would receive government subsidies...but if any of them start problematical editorials about personal freedom or economic mismanagement they'd do like Nicaragua and cut off the ink and paper supplies.

Without those social programs the country would fall into chaos.

I think this is exactly where we are headed.

As far as the hating on the Chinese government goes I think people need to clean up their own house before they start trying to tell other how to clean theirs.

Have a good look at all the homeless and poor in the USA and no one gives a hoot.

Communism/Socialism et al. were never intended to be successful governing systems. They are designed from the get-go to take power. They put out craftily worded slogans and ideals that sound good at first glance.

The real intent, and the key to the successful power grab is to get people to willingly join the cult, willingly give up their freedoms, and willingly give up their rights all the while making them dependent on the ruling party.

The CCP has murdered 80+ million of its own people, yet the people are still brainwashed into thinking they can't possibly survive without it even though they did so successfully for several thousand years.

In the US, the cult of cult of communism began without the intent to take power, but with the intent to get the people to willingly give it up. They decried traditional morals and standards, they made people confused about basic rights and wrong, and indoctrinated several generations with progressively less ability to function without government nannying.

What is left is a group of completely unhinged, emotionally controlled, imbalanced masses with no ability to critically think or even see facts right in front of their face. Up is down, black is white, girl is boy.

The only thing that gives me comfort is that these are signs of panic and a last ditch struggle that has exposed what used to be subtle and careful infiltration. Now socialism and communism (Not interested in arguments about semantics. They are all cults designed to take power), are showing their faces in broad daylight and exposing themselves for those who have some sense left.

Mark my words, this issue will be the topic of the next decade.
