Yeah, I get it, you don’t trust scientists, doctors, psychiatrists, or any other professionals.

You do you, bro.

I wonder if you would trust/believe a doctor that stated something that went against your ideological beliefs.

Are there individual quacks out there? Absolutely, see Paul McHugh, for one.
That’s why one should go by the general consensus of the whole.

So any doc that doesn't agree with you is a quack.

So what is the treatment recommendation for people with mermaid dysphoria in the DSM?
I assume it has its own listing? I go by what the professionals say on the matter.

There are many, many people with gender dysphoria who go on to lead happy, fulfilling lives after transitioning.

LOL...now you're being obtuse.

I don't doubt that there are people that lead fulfilling lives after relieving their gender dysphoria through transition. I think they have to take their meds and hormones regularly though. You don't just whack it off and get a boob job, grow your hair long, and start wearing makeup and jewelry. You have to take your meds for the rest of your life.

Some schizophrenics can also lead fulfilling lives......as long as they take their meds.

What’s your point?

Again, I go by the general consensus. Not just one doctor who happens to be a far right wing evangelical.

You don’t go by general consensus, I take it? Only the individual that agrees with your personal ideology?

I see.

Really? You don't understand the point?

We're talking about mental/psychological/emotional conditions....not physical ailments.

I can promise you, that if all the medical and mental healthcare organizations across the world change their treatment guidelines for people with gender dysphoria because they have found something that works better, I will wholeheartedly change my current position.

Coming from someone that believes too much testosterone is the cause of all the killings and problems in the world.

How on earth is it illogical to side with thousands of scientists, researchers, psychiatrists, medical doctors and endocrinologists across the world?
