OMG! I have been influenced by media and culture.

Don't recall it making me want to change my gender or kiss other girls though.

I cannot argue. At the very least, those with vile and evil intentions have infiltrated and influenced the whole in the worst ways.

I don't think there is any one cause or reason for the many who feel transgender; and I don't think most people really want to tell other (consenting) adults what to do. Most people would rather live their own lives than worry about what other folks are doing with their lives. If folks aren't hurting anyone, then live and let live.

But folks are being hurt -- many folks, from many walks of life, in many ways. And that's when it becomes a problem.

When the harm is pointed out, and there is no effort to sympathize or empathize, much less make the necessary changes and adjustments, but rather the ones pointing out the harm are attacked instead, then true motives and intentions become suspect, and therefore cannot be trusted.

I never said you should just shut up if you don't know anyone who's trans, i said that if you don't know anyone who's trans you can't possibly have any idea what our lives are like, and maybe if you stopped shouting about your feelings that have no basis in anything and listen for a minute, you'd learn something.

Bottom Line: Real harm is being done to kids. Period. There is absolutely no question or doubt whatsoever that these drugs cause infertility and other severe side effects and adverse outcomes. No doubt whatsoever.

If you want to tell us why this harm is "reasonable" and "practical", go for it.

okay so i thought long and hard about infertility before i started my transition and here's a reasonable and practical answer; if i didn't transition, i was going to die. no two ways about it, it was literally change or die. so even if i had had any children, they would have had a heavily depressed and emotionally absent 'father' who would then have died and left them alone and probably a bit messed up.
so yeah i guess it's kinda sad i can't have kids and i get upset about it occassionally but not only am i still here but i'm also happy and healthy and have a rewarding life sooo whatcha gonna do? better for those hypothetical children, too.

I was very specific in my concerns, provided standard established operating principles and guidelines, gave specific real life documented examples of deviations from these established protocols as well as the injuries and other harms caused by these deviations, and quoted various experts with citations.

That was the 80's. By the 00's they had already twisted boys into being Material Boys (of the girly clothes and "products" sorts). And now its turning the boys into girls. Throw in a political (quasi-religous) identity ideology thingie, on top of decades of Bisphenol A (BPA) over-saturation across all of food & environment, and viola transgenders have shot up what 4000%.
