In May of last year, the Catholic diocese ruled just hours before Holy Cross High School's graduation that the openly gay valedictorian and the student council president could not give their planned speeches at the Covington school's official graduation ceremony.

1. He wasn't a student at Covington School. Different school, different district.

Bales said at the time that he was unsure whether his sexual orientation played a role in the Diocese of Covington's decision to not permit him to speak at graduation. "I honestly have no idea, because what I've been taught about the Catholic faith is that it's about love and tolerance and acceptance of all people," he said.

2. Being gay was not a reason for the denial of his speech. He actually doesn't know.

At the time, a spokesperson for the Diocese of Covington said the students' speeches were not submitted on time and "were political and inconsistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church," assertions Bales denies.

3. The reason given was tardiness and political speech

I'm more inclined to trust a poacher or human smuggler than a journalist these days.

Media should probably just stop talking about Covington all together, they are grasping at straws in desperation of trying to get out of the hole they dug themselves into, its not working, but yeah, they will probably ruin 1'000 of peoples lifes with hundreds of fake event/reportings, before they finally find a racist/homophobic dungbeetle and when they do, they will proclaim they where the victors all along, as they usually do.

Hopefully, the majority, no matter what political spectrum they are on, realise what kind of monsters "journalists" has become

The media sure is going all out to cover up their fake news and incitement of violence against kids.
Perhaps they are finally ashamed of themselves, but their misguided solution to their shame is to just dig deeper.

no they have no shame.

They are desperately trying to hold on to their power and the only way they can is to impeach Trump.

They will do anything to slander their enemy at this point. The media is their biggest weapon.
