A Retelling of Chicken Little for Today-Featuring AOC and Chicken Na Nicken

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez liked to walk in the woods. She liked to look at the trees and smell the flowers and listen to the birds singing. But one day while she was walking in the woods an acorn fell from a tree and hit her on her little head.

"Oh my! The sky is falling. I must run and tell the sheep about it," said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and she ran. And she ran and she ran.

For congress.

By and by she met an old hen. “Where are you going?” asked the hen.

“Oh, Henny Pelenny, the sky is falling and I am going to the sheep to tell them about it,” she said.

“How do you know this?” asked Henny Pelenny.

“Like, it hit me on the head,” said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“Shut up!” said Henny Pelenny.

So Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ran and ran until she met Chicken Na Nicken.

“The sky is falling,” said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, “and I’m going to tell the sheep about it. Do you want to come?”

“How do you know this?” asked Chicken Na Nicken.

“Like, it hit me on the head,” said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“Like, can I come with?” asked Chicken Na Nicken.

“Like, fer sure!” said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

So both of them ran and ran until they meet Al the Owl.

“Oh, Al the Owl, the sky is falling and we're going to tell the sheep about it,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, “do you want to come?

“Uh, I did that like 13 years ago,” said Al the Owl.

So Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Chicken Na Nicken went and told the sheep that the sky was falling. Sadly, the sheep believed them.
