Twitter suspended an account on Monday afternoon that helped spread a controversial encounter between a Native American elder and a group of high school students wearing Make America Great Again hats.

The account claimed to belong to a California schoolteacher. Its profile photo was not of a schoolteacher, but of a blogger based in Brazil, CNN Business found. Twitter suspended the account soon after CNN Business asked about it.

The account, with the username @2020fight, was set up in December 2016 and appeared to be the tweets of a woman named Talia living in California. "Teacher & Advocate. Fighting for 2020," its Twitter bio read. Since the beginning of this year, the account had tweeted on average 130 times a day and had more than 40,000 followers

Ask the NY AG to indict her for suborning a felony and prostitution. Give him a hard deadline (say 1 week), with the understanding that the FBI will open a civil rights investigation if she is not arrested.

Roseanne lost her show over a stupid tweet, it will be interesting to see if this lady has to face the same standards.

High School kids go on a trip to dc to participate in their constitutionally protected activities only to have their world turned upside down through no fault of their own.
I would wager this will make each of those kids life long voters, and not in the direction of the protests.

TextHowever, as was stated these were students on a field trip, and their chaperones permitted this. So the fault lies with the chaperones, who could have simply told the students to remain silent and not say anything, and to just walk away from the 5 people.

What did they do wrong in doing school cheers to drown out racist crap from the 5 Guys? Why not blame the 5 Black Israelites for their behavior? The Kids stopped engaging directly with them, moved away and then did their school cheer stuff.

I've been to DC twice in the last 5 years and I've seen that group or one just like them at the Lincoln Memorial both times. They spout their hatred and everyone is supposed to just ignore it? They ruin an otherwise nice visit to the Monument.

Why didn't Mr Phillips drum at the source of the Problrm, the 5 Men? If he truly wanted to calm the situation, wouldn't you go to the source that caused the problem?

So far their has been ZERO video of the boys saying "build the wall" or any other such stuff, contrary to Mr. Phillips assertions. There were dozens of people taking video there and you don't see the claims of Mr. Phillips backed up by any of them. In fact one of Phillip' companions tries to "calm" the situation by telling the boys to "Go back to Europe". That's such a calming thing to say in that situation, isn't it?

The kids did pretty well considering the Adults there who were throwing verbal abuse on them.

....but you blame the kids and their Chaperones.

So when it is shown that these children actually did nothing wrong now you go search for dirt on the school?
What lengths will you go to not blame the ADULTS that shouted down children with disgusting racist language?

If you are going after the "blackout" at that school you had better be prepared to go after the "whiteout" and "redout" or what ever other color offends you at other institutions that have athletic events.
