Just to clarify: you are saying that if a group of you and your friends walked up to a group of teens while you were yelling insults, etc. then got into one of the kids faces continuing the behavior.. that you would consider violence completely justified if the kid smiled? Because they got into your space?

At what age do we attain this total immunity?

What should probably concern people the most isn't so much the deceptive nature of the media, but those that accept it wholesale regardless of any further details or evidence. Not only does this require a disturbing level of disconnect from reality, due to the intentional (!) programming, it is almost always accompanied by the perspective that that disconnect is a self-evident marker of lack of bias. That's a damn vicious cycle.

Most leftist men are not built for what they are pushing for and its been stated many times. Ive seen it many times in the street/clubs/bars people pushing the quiet guy minding his own business at the end of the bar not bothering anyone. I agree. No one wants violence especially the men who know first hand what its like.

Im gen Xer and I have a 6 y/o. Im starting to fear for his future. I look at this world where right is wrong and wrong is right, up is down down is up, a world where the true racists call people racists! I don't want him to be hated for his skin color and its only going to get worse as the demographics change. I don't want it to be like South Africa.

I dont want this country to end up being a third world socialist cesspool. I get very emotional about this and sometimes have to remove myself from these topics because I feel like I wanna strangle some of the posters. And If I said what I really wanted to say id be banned lol

In general, I would have to agree.

I still don't think right leaning folks are quite up there in comparison to the left. More specifically statists, victim paradigm groups, racists, etc.

But.. it does seem "the right" is starting to amplify responses. Hard not to do so, honestly, but critically important to the future to avoid that particular gravity well.

Radicalism and extremism on the right has about remained at parity for decades. I'd suspect even dwindling, though I'm not sure there is a direct relation to reduced "threat." Whereas the left has been having an opposite response, rising in numbers rapidly (comparatively). When potentiated by selective media, meaning everything from journalists and the news to feed customization on social media sites; and an inclination to isolate and segregate more over time, we have an environment that normalizes behavior that wouldn't typically be adopted or accepted. If it can be done with a large enough social group, it genuinely appears as if its everyone else that is changing and diverging from the "norm." Kinda terrifying implications with that line of thought too, even if just from philosophical perspective.

I do think groups on the left were targeted first, and not randomly. It tends to be a mindset more based in dynamic trends, rather than a status quo, and that makes it easier to direct. If I really put on my foil hat, I wouldn't be surprised if it was also a factor that "progressive" mindsets are the most likely to utilize upcoming and cutting edge technology to fundamentally advance a paradigm that has been at work since the beginnings of feudalism.

We can't have that of course.. I suppose that even if the tools are new and it all appears new to us in the context of our lifetime, at its core, it is the same thing we have seen since leaders began to manipulate their people against one another.

Its just that it all can be done more efficiently now, with communication tools and an increase in understanding of our own behavior. Not sure how to realistically change it either, honestly.

So, after finding out that the kids were not the ones who got into "the space of anyone." After being shown that it was the Native American who got into the face of the teenager, and was trying to incite a violent response from the teenager, but the teenager did nothing except smile. The Indian elder went into the middle of the teen group and up to the one kid and started chanting, the kid didn't move and watched him with a small smile on his face, and so the two had kind of a standoff, but the Indian elder initiated it. Maybe there was none on either side, but the media made it that way....
