Beautiful statement. And one I support 110%.

We are in the midst of a fundamental fight. Unfortunately, the fundamentally educated are those who vote in opposition of government sustainability.

This is something we cannot stand for.

Not only did she deny it, she denied it 5 minutes before Trump even started his speech. Treason.

It's going to be very interesting to see if the senate votes a yes on this, not only along party lines but with some Democrats thrown in for good measure. May you live in interesting times, certainly a curse indeed.

32 democrats in the House in a secret ballot voted against Nancy Pelosi for Speaker in November. Of course, some of them were coerced and prodded and ended up voting for her. But, she is really not that well liked. I would bet there are many in the Senate that aren't that fond of her either.

The only reason she stays in is because she is seldom opposed in her district and she has lots and lots of donor money to distribute to other Dem camps. They lick her boots for it.

This would be the perfect time for some of those opposed to NP to push for her ouster and take control of the Party. There is bound to be some with a brain left .....and a heart for the American People.

It's going to be very interesting if the senate is for the proposal from Trump, we may see some actual fireworks rather than posturing from both sides. I can see that Trump is getting a little tired of being diplomatic about the situation, so my next guess if everything is rejected, he goes harder than he has been on this. Now that may not really pan out well for anyone, but it is really long over-due at this point.

I would imagine in that situation he enacts emergency powers to cover back-pay for certain crucial services (coast guard, air traffic control, etc., NOT TSA) and have this impact them a little less. This still leaves a ton of government fat along with private sector that relies on that fat, but would go a very long way toward swinging even more to his side when it comes to this issue.

The Dummiecraps are obfiscating royaly and hurting America badly by not doing what they were elected for, cause they are still butthurt over Hilarity Clitin's loss! taking 10 day junkets to Puerto Rico when federal workers are missing paychecks! and only 10 days after congress opened after the holidays!

Chuck and Nancy should be charged with Treason for allowing a national security crisis on our southern border! All beacuse they hate President Trump! Hatred so bad that they will ignore thier own constitiuantes and block any comprimise Trump offers, discraceful as hell

Pelosi probably doesn't read her twitter replies, because she is really getting raked over the coals. Practically everybody wants a Wall and is telling her so. But, the old battle axe just ignores The American People.

She's good friends with George Soros. She was even a distinguished (I use that term loosely) guest at his last wedding. What is George Soros' umbrella organization? The Open Society Foundation. $$$$$$$ for Nancy. She's going to toe the line for Georgieboy...not The American People.

Don't let her fool you by her BS. She's in GS's pocket.

Any why did trump end DACA?

Because of Obama's sneaky ways he bypassed Congress and other committees to pass it.

DACA would have never been accepted if Obama didint push it through on his own.

I don't understand how the current population of illegal aliens currently in America jails is not the final draw.

Hundreds of thousands of crimes and billions in money spent since 2016 on people never supposed to be there.

Why is that never addressed?

Soros and the Communist Party run the Democrats now. If that doesn’t scare people, they are in for a rude awakening.

Dems and DACA recipients are looking for something more permanent rather than a 1 year extension to the extension. That's why they aren't happy with the proposal.

They can probably have it. But in order to get what they want, they have to give something Trump wants. That's what "compromise" means.

Of course, Pelosi has to widen her vocabulary a bit for that to work... a one word vocabulary ("no") is not enough.

This is really starting to piss me off.

Don't get me wrong I don't entirely blame Pelosi, but she gets like 90% of the blame.

Trump gets the other 10%.

Here is why, I need #ing paid bro, declare an emergency, oh its not an emergency, it is to me, truly the southern border is an emergency, so is my #ing finances.

Just saying. I wasn't super worried the first couple of days, but god I never thought it would go on like this. Just think about this for a second. What would you do, if your income magically just disappeared, no planning nothing. Just gone.

So Trump is the one to repeal DACA to start with.. and then his "deal" involves giving giving a tiny bit back, but it's only temporary, and that's a deal? LMAO.. what world you people living in. "So.. I stole your house.. but here is a couch back, if you give me 500 bucks.. but I am going to take it back later, just so you know.. we good?"

So Trump is the one to repeal DACA to start with..

How can anyone repeal something that wasn't a law? DACA was a willful violation of a law. Congress passed laws that said DACA recipients are illegal and have to be deported. Obama violated those laws; Trump tried to uphold them and at the same time gave Congress 6 months to pass a law to protect them.

Congress failed to do so. They just talked about it, and Schumer shut the government down one time when it wasn't even on the table.... just 'cause. No bill to fix the issue... just 'cause.

President Donald J. Trump is the biggest friend any DACA recipient has in DC. Had he not done that, they would all be in another country right now. The Supreme Court was about to hear a challenge to DACA that would likely have succeeded. He could have unilaterally rescinded DACA by Executive Order (since all DACA was, was an Executive Order) and deported every single one of them... he could have done nothing and let the Supreme Court tell him he had to deport every single one of them... and to be honest, the more I hear this ignorant argument, the more I think maybe he should have. They don't seem to appreciate anything he does for them, so why bother with them?

I'd like for someone to explain to me exactly why we pay a Congress, when so many think it should be perfectly fine for a President to make and change laws, the President gets to shut down the government unilaterally any time he wants, and so forth. What is Congress' job? Do they have anything they do to justify their existence?
