I really don't think "no problem" is a double negative lol.

It means there is not a problem.

A double negative is, for example, the song that says: "I can't get no satisfaction." Which means the guy is not satisfied, except the double-neg. breaks the actual sentence to technically mean the opposite lol.

This reminds me of when I was a young kid and saw a nonhuman entity in my bedroom.

My parents had a Jesus picture in my room. It didn't stop the entity from visiting, plus the entity seemed loving toward me.

I wouldn't have thought of praying to Jesus cuz I was never on the Jesus bandwagon like that lol.

My room was pitch-black so my main connection to Jesus was watching when a rainstorm would flash lightning, I'd see Jesus' face appear when the lightning would flash. It was a very cool appearance.

Well anyway, whatever makes someone happy.

Hmmm. I took a moment to reflect on that. I think I understand, in terms of feelings. You have a good point there. "No problem" is two negative FEELING words to describe a positive feeling.



Also I'll just point out that "double negative" means something specific, so what you're describing is different. Best to avoid calling it a "double negative."

I am living this discussion. An interesting point us that in math a double negative is positive, a double positive is positive also. What if positive and negative are artificial constructs? What would that say about the nature of good and evil?

good an evil are possibly two poles of the same energy
which to me could be what alchemy is about, changing one to the other
changing the negative into the positive, and hey maths is important
to negs may make a pos even in words, i could be wrong about everuthing
but im cool with that as i know my mind can change on any subject
if given enough reason, im not set on any beliefs and consider myself on
a journey.
