That could be part of it. My mind also recalled A.G. nominee William Barr testifying 2 weeks ago that journalist could be jailed, and news organizations financially punished, for crossing certain "red lines" of decency.

Drudge is reporting that a deal to end the shutdown has been reached. Hopefully it's a good deal.

QOS, this is an interesting point. There is ZERO chance that CNN etc. makes enough money on "ads" to keep the lights on. C_A prior to GB paid for C_A staff/reporters/editors to embed in all major news organizations. Bush changed the effort to take the "cash payment" off the books C_A would never give up power and control like that just because...

So where were the funds coming from to support that effort after the change, and does that funding include outright subsidizing entire online or other "news outlets?

Of course the other issue lurking is the "clicks" lie and fake stats...

"29 FBI agents in 17 vehicles".....I have heard these numbers today at least twice and read them in news sources, too.

Why is that important to verbalize? Why not just say, "over a dozen agents" converged on Roger Stone's residence? But, someone is emphasizing specific numbers.

That would be Roger Stone pleading Q for help.
Someone with powerful media connections pushed that out last night because the same phrase is used in multiple news sources reaching all the way over to AUS news outlets.
