Let's pretend the left isn't unhinged.

This isn't a left thing and the Law is not "unhinged".

All of those news outlets should apologize to the Trump admin and his supporters. This Russiagate has being going on for almost three years with no evidence.

They should give up that pipe train and do some actual real news reporting.

yes he did actually backtrack

“No, I’ve not seen it personally.”

Camerota asked Cormier of the “dubious past” of his co-author Jason Leopold who came under scrutiny for faulting reporting for Salon 2002 that led to an article getting removed. In 2006 he incorrectly reported that Karl Rove had been indicted. “He was in trouble for perhaps claiming to have sources he really didn’t have. His stories didn’t wash. Executive directors and editors have had to apologize after some of his big blockbuster stories,” Camerota noted, before asking” How can you be certain today?”

But nonetheless, CNN is running with it relentlessly, even with no corroboration or evidence. Like they did with the dossier, the prostitutes the pee and the bed!

It's hilarious to watch, also shows how desperate they really are to destroy this president by any means necessary. They can't see a path to defeat him any other way now, and they know that the leftist, globalist, progressive, socialist agendas end with this president if they fail.

Well now they have third party attribution: "Buzzfeed is reporting that... Here's what that could mean..."

It's all part of the same tired ride...

You don't appear to know what backtracking is.

His sources have always been two Senior Law Enforcement Officials at DOJ.

He didn't claim to have seen the evidence files.

So him explaining that he has not reviewed emails or documents isn't backtracking? It is answering a question.

You should actually read things once in a while.

FIRST SENTENCE OF BUZZFEED STORY

President Donald Trump directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, according to two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter.

And here:

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

At the same time, the Democrat and media response to Trump is mostly hysterical, hyperbole, and dishonest. Nazis, racists, fascists, white supremacists, and Russians everywhere.

It’s been so absurd that even I as a liberal can see it.

There is NO evidence of Trump DIRECTING Cohen to lie,

So you believe that Robert Mueller would just take the word of a known liar and not verify the information?

Because Manafort tried to bull# his way into less jail time by feeding Mueller some lies and look where that got him.

Maybe Michael is that stupid.... who knows...he was hired by trump after all and we KNOW the kind of people he hires.

The special counsel's sentencing memo described Michael Cohen's cooperation as "overstated." This most likely means that he really didn't help them much. It certainly wasn't enough
help for them to recommend leniency, because they ended up requesting a harsh sentence.

The age of journalism, sadly, is dead right now and it will be hard to come back.

This is the new cycle.

MSNBC,NBC,CNN,WaPo.NYT,NYPost,TheView.MOrningJOe all run a story in the morning.
All D reps in Congress tweet that Trump should be impeached or step down
Retraction on an obscure part of their web pages.

Recycle the next day.

That is it. For over 3 years that is ALL the media has done.

You mean kind of like the NYT making a retraction on its scoop about Manafort sharing polling data with Deripaska and other Russian spies?

"Whoops! Did we say Russian agents? We actually meant Ukrainians! They're still the good guys, right?"

Damn right. This report doesn't exist in a vacuum. Buzzfeed has gotten in trouble before for publishing fake stories with fabricated "sources" that didn't exist, or at the very least whose claims turn out to be untrue.

That's why we're all saying "Let's see the evidence." Because no, I am not going to take it on faith that either of these "senior officials" are even real. Buzzfeed is not entitled to the benefit of the doubt.

Do you just invent alternative facts?

Here is the document. It states just the opposite and characterizes his cooperation multiple times as "significant".

Nowhere does it even remotely state what you claim.

Disappointing that falsehoods are regularly interjected into discussions on this board to mislead people.

LOL! Let me guess: it was the same guys Manafort was working with before (and got in trouble for), and the retards at the NYT were too stupid to realize that (A) Ukraine is not part of Russia, and (B) Manafort's conviction is for events unrelated to the Russiagate investigation. Am I right?

Then why did Mueller recommend NO JAIL TIME?

The sentencing memo recommended a "substantial term of imprisonment". Perhaps you're thinking of Flynn?

Kilimnik, a fluent English speaker and graduate of a Russian military school

The FBI assesses that Kilimnik “has ties to a Russian intelligence service and had such ties in 2016”, Mueller’s team said in a court filing, in March, in which Kilimnik was described only as “Person A”

The filing also said Gates, who worked closely with Manafort and Kilimnik in Ukraine, privately specified to an associate in 2016 that Kilimnik was “a former Russian intelligence officer with the GRU”, the agency accused of waging “information warfare” against US politics using social media and email hacking.

The person Manafort flew to secretly meet in Madrid to meet and share Internal Campaign Polling Data with is a Russian Agent.

What are you confused about?

I already linked to it.

Why are you continuing to lie?

You are making up lies and misleading participants in this thread.
