This is exactly why President Trump was elected by a majority of Americans.

I'm glad Hillary didn't win, but what do you think majority means?

Can you imagine the pressure the Dems are going to be under wants it really starts affecting their constituency?

Another thing Trump should do it put all aid that would be going to other countries towards paying for the government workers who are not getting paid.

America First.

It means the majority of the electorial College votes, plus half the population of the country.

Why would Trump hire 17 new lawyers to defend himself?

Unfortunately, the Democrats have all lined up to create a paper
factory and waste precious tax money with umteen records
requests, just as they did with Bush.

So these so called lawyers will oversee that process.

But it is a semi clever talking point by the Dems,
if your only thinking with half a brainwashed lobe.

Then you'd phrase it like that, it's better than being disingenuous or ignorant.

Thank you President Trump for holding these traitor's feet to the fire.

Let's hit the magic 30 day count and trim the fat.

There are suggestions that Trump is under the control of a long-standing enemy of the US.

Did you bump your head?.....Trump is not controlled by the Democratic Party.
Oh wait...you must be talking about the Democrats “perceived” enemy, Russia.
The question still stands...did you bump your head?

No, I haven't bumped my head recently.

You live in Michigan. Have you been drinking the water from Flint? You know what high lead levels do.

You do realize that if America's economy tanks, your little island is about 4 weeks away from population attrition via cannibalism.

Keep cheering on though!

Why were the Democrats even Considering taking this Trip if the Government is shutdown?

LOL. Do you think that this was some spur of he moment impulse? How long do you think it takes to organize and coordinate congressional delegation to Afghanistan with the military?

Just because Trump made a spur of the moment Christmas trip to Iraq during the shut down, because he was bored and pissed off that wasn't allowed to use Airforce one to take a personal vacay at Mar-A-Lago, doesn't mean that 30 congressional democrats can just call up the Airforce and catch a ride to Afghanistan on a whim!

This had to have been in works for months.

Islands, plural (about 600 of them).

And we are so far from the rest of the world that we have had to be self sufficient for 200 years or more.

So, no cannibalism.

Our economy isn't tied that tightly to the US, either.

Although we export to the world; Australia, the Pacific Islands, Argentina and Asia are much closer.

As far as 'old country' familial links, we are probably tied to England and Holland more than the US.

Just like the State of the Union address.
In the works for months.

Are those losers still sitting on that bus in the car park?

Ha ha haaaaaaaaa. Old bobbin-head will be having a long day.

62,979,879 voted for Trump hardly half and not even one third of America 326,766,748 population which is only 19-20 percent of America . All polls even Republican biased polls say the majority of America is not with him.

Maybe if you keep telling yourself all that you'll start to believe it.

Unfortunately that type of "stuff" (everyone knows what I mean by stuff) has became gospel to be worshiped by some here.

Oh, is that what "the strategy is to strongly assert the President's executive privilege" in regard to the potential public release Mueller's report' means - something about the Dems generating paperwork?

If I were a government worker, not getting paid, and I found out that someone who caused the suspension of my pay by walking out of discussions before they really had begun, was spending up big, especially when it looks like it was for obstruction of justice, I'd be fairly upset.

That doesn't even make sense. How many of those 326,766,748 are voting age? That's the statistic that counts. Also, how many just didn't vote, but are with him now?

Actually, I believe the majority of America IS with him. Polls Shmolls.

(BTW: Stay tuned for the illegal alien voter fraud numbers, especially in CA.)

A majority
A handful of States DO NOT get to elect a President
Everyone's vote is weighted for balance.
Thank God that the folks that outlined this country had the forethought to install checks and balances such as the Electoral College.
So yes , one can say "a majority"
(The electoral vote is only bad when a Democrat loses)

249,485,228 people of voting age in 2016 and 62,979,8796 voted for Trump. Only 25 percent voted for Trump which is still hardly half and not even 1/3 of America. So the lie that the majority of America voted for Trump, just does not cut it when you do the numbers. If you want to count the people that did vote, then the majority of America voted for Clinton.

No.

You can frame it other ways and be truthful.

Trump won under the system we have in place. That's perfectly fine.

Saying a majority of Americans voted for him isn't. This is an international board, so nuance and sometimes idioms don't translate.

God forbid we have a standard for being honest with what we say.

What you're doing is past semantics and straight to mental gymnastics....
You're better than that.

We're (as a board, I hope) better than that.

Why split hairs over something you knew?

Careful, your own pettiness will bite you in the ass.
