Really? We have 5 million threads discussing how horrible Antifa and BLM are. Meanwhile any thread discussing Right Wing extremism we get people trying to turn it into a thread discussing how horrible Antifa and BLM are.

The reaction to this thread is the perfect example. I haven't seen anybody actually respond to the OP. Instead it's post after post complaining about the Left.

Maybe because the ‘left’ are hateful fascists who seek to outlaw anyone they see as ‘opposition’ by labelling them as ‘hate groups’ and ‘extremists’ When they’re anything but.

The communist manifesto comes to mind.

Do you see the splc calling the ‘nation of islam’ and extremist hate group???

I think it’s the fact that it’s the fascist left who are labelling these groups (and actually being taken seriously) that the people of the country are worried about.

Mark my words, by their definition I’m sure YOU belong to one of their ‘hate’ sectors of society and when they decide that it’s your turn, it will be your turn.

Communism, socialism and fascism are a very slippery slope. It’s best not to let them even get started.

Wow! I didn't realize it had gotten to this point!
Do you have any sources you could point me to so I could learn more of these truths of which you speak? Are there any places I could go to verify your statements?
Not that I don't believe you - you seem perfectly rational and all...It's just that I remember someone once told me to always check out facts for myself...just to make sure they are true and all that....because sometimes it is hard to spot crazy people....

So, those sources will be right up, Eh?

Have you been living under a rock?
Do you recommend that? I suppose a very large rock, like a cave could be ok, if you cleaned it up, and stopped all the dripping, and put in some heating and electric. It sounds like you have experience. What would you say are the pros and cons of living under a rock?

As I said in the past, there are members of ATS that really don't want us discussing Right Wing extremism. You really have to wonder why that's the case.

I will ask for you.

Hey! ATS members that really don't want us discussing Right Wing extremism - Hey. What's up with that?

It’s probably because there’s not much to discuss, they are an extreamly small percent of the population that, for the most part, know their ideas are not popular so they stay in the shadows and fringes of society. These people are not organizing rally’s where they destroy property and harm people like antifa is.

I’m guessing you’ll bring up Charletsville but please don’t as il be forced to look up and type out all the city’s and college campuses held hostage by mask wearing violent antifa members and sjw morons in the past 3 years.

Stay blind.
It seems to work for you

Right wing = bad
Left wing = good

We get it.

Stay blind.
Thank you for all the advice, and your obvious concern about my well being, but this is going too far. I thought it was OK when you offered unsolicited advise about my living arrangements, but I take my eyesight very seriously. I don't know what you are suggesting about this blindness, but where I come from we treasure our vison. I will ask you politely not to bring the subject of blinding up to me again

I was participating in a thread yesterday on the threat of right wing domestic terrorism.

From Sept 12th 2001, "notice when they started the body count" till 2017, there was an average a bit over 7 people killed per year by right wing extremist terrorism.

7 killed is a normal weekend in Chicago.
But hey, never let common sense stop someone from overreacting.

Complete BS.

No one here agrees with that hyperbolic drivel.

What's worse is that you need it to be the exact scenario so you could justify the lunacy of the idea.

Atomwaffen is a fringe group with 80 people at most.

Antifa is a nationwide movement with considerable media and institutional support.

Which is a bigger threat?

That date, literally the day after, is one of the biggest "data manipulation" slap across the face I've seen.

Why not Sept 18th 2001, or October 1st 2001. At least make an attempt to not be so obvious. It's actually insulting to the readers intelligence(thankfully for them, I'm sure that's a small amount of their audience).

I heard about this place called 'ATS'...

Like I said earlier, I'll take my chances with 'biased' sources over blatant propaganda any day.

And if Atomwaffen had their way the death count caused by Right Wing extremism would be so high that no one would be able to catch up.

These people exist. They want to kill lots of US citizens. And now, thanks to the Base, a lot of these disparate groups and lone wolves are unifying. Now is the time to be vigilant about these people that are the most successful at pulling off terror attacks in this country. Not after they do something that makes 9/11 pale in comparison.

Unless of course you're looking forward to legislation that makes the Patriot Act look like the Bill of Rights.

Here is some more on hate groups, in case you are interested:

In the US, two private organizations that monitor intolerance and hate groups are the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)[2] and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).[3] They maintain lists of what they deem to be hate groups, supremacist groups and anti-Semitic, anti-government or extremist groups that have committed hate crimes. The SPLC's definition of a "hate group" includes any group with beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people—particularly when the characteristics being maligned are immutable.[4] However, at least for the SPLC, inclusion of a group in the list "does not imply a group advocates or engages in violence or other criminal activity."[5] According to the SPLC, from 2000 to 2008, hate group activity saw a 50 percent increase in the US, with a total of 926 active groups.[6] Recently[when?] the term alt-right, short for "alternative right," has come into usage.[7][8] This broad term includes a range of people who reject mainstream conservatism in favor of forms of conservatism that may embrace implicit or explicit racism or white supremacy. The alt-right is described as "a weird mix of old-school neo-Nazis, conspiracy theorists, anti-globalists, and young right-wing internet trolls—all united in the belief that white male identity is under attack by multicultural, "politically correct" forces."[
Wiki

The Southern Poverty Law Center will label just about any conservative group as a hate group, while giving groups like Antifa and BLM a free pass.

The SPLC is itself a hate group.

I have no doubt these people exist.
But tell me, what government agencies do you trust to determine your mental stability?
Just being a member of this website could raise a few red flags in the eyes of many.

Really? Then why is it anytime a thread is made condemning neo-Nazis it's like pulling teeth getting most members to agree with the simple position that neo-Nazis are bad?

"Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroys information, and religions destroy spirituality." ~ Michael Ellner

Just another confirmation...

Atomwaffen. They actually want to kill a lot of people, they have plans to achieve that goal, and have held training camps in the Nevada desert.

Antifa on the other hand posts flyers on college campuses.

9/11 was the product of 19 hijackers and less than 30 conspirators total. The OKC Bombing was the product of two men. The fact that Atomwaffen has 80 people with no qualms about killing is absolutely chilling.
