Tell them there is no line between quality of life and enjoying life. When your quality of life is good (from exercise, eating healthy, etc) then you enjoy life!

We always try to walk the line between what we know our relatives like and what would be healthy. This year for Christmas, I made my usual cookies. My compromise is to make them smaller. They're still cookies, not cut corners, but I can eat them if they're small ones because I can have one or two little cookies. My relatives can have as many as they like.

We also took some killer Asian meatballs that are super low cal and eaten in a lettuce wrap. Really, really tasty and sneaky healthy. Everyone liked them, so win, win.

And I indulge in the other stuff too. The thing is that if someone makes the good food, my family will eat it. They just normally don't bother themselves.

Neapolitan Pizza, followed closely by lasagna and pici alla cinghale.

Thanks

I like to know people's favorite things - chefs, musicians, writers, artists...etc.

Nothing beats a good lasagna
