Lol at this complete delusion. They caged kids too during Obama's golden reign, ya know.

Those photos of immigrant children “caged” by the US? They’re from 2014

The complete delusion is conflating Trump’s policies with Obama.

And Obama wasn’t perfect, that’s what is so ironic. He deserved criticism but Trump’s humanitarian crisis belongs to him alone.

Today's America is not equivalent to 1930's Germany.

Well, you got that one right.

And you didn't even answer the question. How do you reconcile your own grandfathers devoting their lives to killing Nazi's and destroying their ideology... with your modern embrace of Nazi ideology? How do you reconcile that with your own family history against Nazi ideology?

You know, hitting the 'quote' link and then typing is different from actually reading what was said.

Try to stay on topic, blah, blah, blah (I'm getting good at this!
)

a reply to: peacefulpete I very seldom post negative things, But I'm going to make an exception for you. You are very rude. To Bad your parents didn't raise you to know better.

They're likely still working on that. Give 'em time.

Why, certainly, yes. But only for money - I'm a lawyer. My fee note for this advice will follow.

Dude, I was right in my statement, and you validated it yourself.

If you want to complain, like the useless TSA, that inspections weren't going on even though the inspectors were back that's your prerogative.

Nothing to note here. I'm even gonna be able to file and have my taxes back at the normal time.

A shutdown that stops welfare and pushes the 5% of those who aren't too lazy to get a job, things might just start looking up in bad neighborhoods.

It hasn't.

But it's affecting a lot of other people.

I mean seriously, keep the bitch shut down as long as y'all want, DC. This is turning out to be a beautiful thing.

Not for the people who it's negatively affecting, financially.

Just because it doesn't personally affect me (or you, or any one single person or family) doesn't mean it's ok. That's the point.

Maybe the democrats will wise up and let Trump have the measly 5.4 billion he asked for. Pelosi is adamant about not giving it to him, but she wants 57.6 billion for foreign aid.

Unless there's a city in America named "Hear."

The answer is NOT having a Hitler-wannabe, creating concentration camps for children that he has kidnapped from their family, for no reason but abject hatred, racism, ignorance, cruelty.

To be more specific, Obama managed to run the country for EIGHT YEARS without doing anything like this.

So, Dotard could have continued the exact same policies as Obama, without any blame or criticism.

First, you need to back off your burners a little. To suggest "Hitler", "concentration camps", " hatred, racism, ignorance, cruelty" does not help your point at all even if you have a point, which you don't.

What do you do with 40,000 undocumented people per month that now bring their kids with around a 250% increase? Do you take their information and release them into the public with nothing?

Once again what do we do with limited resources that can easily get overwhelmed. Would not the big goal be that they do not come here in the first place?

It was under Obama that created the whole idea for these people to bring their kids as leverage in getting in the country in the first place. His 8 years didn't help the situation at all...we still have 15 million here and growing and we still have all the bad that goes with it too.
