Well .. ain´t his comments based by his research and observation ? When results speak for themselves, do we deny ? Isn´t his comments just a result of his observations as a scientist? He should not be stripped of honors when he has data to back up his comments.

The real question should be is that what he said or what they said he said.

Theres no data that shows IQ is genetic because other factors are always involved. Like lack of education and not being taught how to solve problems.

I think the IQ test helps Asians more than any other race but I think that is because they have cared to learn more than we care to in school. What if Dr Watson is spot on with his data and still a prick with his opinion at 90? Leave him alone.

i think an important question that needs to be raised is, why do these "racist" ideas have such a tendency to pop up with researchers doing similar types of research? and why is it when they report their findings it is automatically racist? i remember several years ago a big hullabaloo being raised when research at a Canadian college showed that different races (not just black/white), had higher and lower average IQ's from each other. we certainly don't call it racist when research shows that different races have higher and lower rates of certain diseases and medical issues such as diabetes. just as we don't call it sexist when we find that more women suffer from breast cancer then men, or that men have higher rates of prostate cancer. we just take it as a given. and that having different DNA has effects on different races. so why is it a problem when it is found that different DNA actually does have effects on things like IQ? seriously next thing you know DNA testing for racial heritage will be racist, since that seems to prove that there is indeed differences between races.

seriously at this point we should stop referring to dogs as different breeds. that a dog is a dog, and is equal to every other dog. be it a Chihuahua, Pitbull, or English Bulldog. they are all the same and have no differences between them as they are all dogs. and that anyone who favors or disfavors any specific breeds of dogs are racists. after all race, ie breed has nothing to do with a dog's IQ, or being any better or worse than others for different things. here is no reason a Chihuahua or Jack Russel should not be seeing eye dogs, they are equal to all other dogs after all. no reason a sheep farmer should not use a Pitbull for herding sheep. or any reason we should not have police K-9 units filled with Chihuahuas for taking down suspects and finding drugs and explosives. this is exactly what we are saying if we don't accept the fact that different races of humans are different from each other because they have different DNA.


guess we had better stop teaching things like biology, animal husbandry, and the theory of evolution. as well as burning all the textbooks since they are according to things like this false and lead to/ are racism.

I have an Attack/Watch Cat....he plays fetch...sits..shakes a paw...rolls over....opens doors and eats corn OFF THE COB FROM A PLATE...we PATROL OUR PERIMETER TOGETHER EVERY NIGHT....he will leap onto you and attack your face and scalp on DEMAND....little people can be mean and big people can be nice....diversity is strength.

If so then people like Winston Churchill are in the same boat and should be stripped of any honours or Knighthoods they received in life.

All old people are racist to a point, because there world was a racist place to exist, it's us that have the problem with politically correct bullcrap.

The facts are 'racist' to some people but I am with you 100%.

Do the lefties only trust the IPCC "science is settled" scientists and not the scientists who collect DNA data? Peer Review with no dissent other than the moral aspect of altering DNA, 60 years of research leading to modifying DNA and this is junk science to lefties?

For every study that makes that claim there are 6 that will blame the current education system. But here's the truth there has not been a gene found that directly links to intelligence. But there has been some studies done on adopted children. And environment is the biggest factor to higher scores. For example taking a black child and placing them with white parents they will have a much higher score.

So the real issue becomes socio economic. The more money you have the better your education

Spot on its class war, not a race war, always has been that way.

That remark says "Don't win any awards because someday that will cause someone to come for them".

We know very little about how to raise IQ but quite a bit about what lowers it; inbreeding and poor nutrition during childhood being first among them. Lower IQ points out historical and cultural norms for groups which brings their averages down. Somali children are often malnourished thus lowering IQ - is that a racist remark?
Some will say there is only 1 race are often also the ones to complain about cultural appropriation and lack of opportunities for those of certain groups. We can't have it both ways.

What are you made of ? Think about it.. bones , flesh etc.. but basicly you are made of cells and all cells have genes.
Genes are the base of us all. It is not your environment, it is not what you eat. What genes has given to you pretty much determines what you capable of doing, achieving and thriving. What you are talking about is environment and time how those can impact us and make us better learners but you can do it in the limits you have been given ( genes )
