This is not good! Who's next? David Icke? This site? Is this the first of many who go against the mainstream to be shut down?

For a few Years we have been hearing whispers that the powers that be want to take away free speech and alternative media.

Is this the begining of that?

Because you do not like Alex Jones, does not mean it's right.

How much on this site if full of so called BS fake news? Would you be happy if this site was shut down?

It's certainly a can of worms... If the precedent is set, what is to stop Jones himself suing someone who posts incorrect information that could reach a person deciding on whether he was guilty? Where does it stop when you extend an already crazy culture of litigation?

This is a victory against free speech, and if you can't understand that then there is no helping you. If you're cheering for the censorship of anyone, including people you personally disagree with no matter how insane you think they are, you don't believe in the fundamental freedoms laid out in the Bill of Rights. For everyone pushing the silencing of others, are you 100% certain this could never be used against your "side"?

No one took away his free speech. Free speech got him into this. They just made him responsible for his actions. Now what group of folks is always harping on about being responsible for actions....Little help?

IF, and it's a big IF, Jones broke the law or defamed someone then he will pay the price - as he should.
There's a long way to go before a determination on that.
Let's be clear - free speech should not get you into one iota of trouble UNLESS it contravenes a particular law or is defamatory to the extent that one can be successfully sued.

This is how they are trying to silence future conspiracy theorists and those who dare to question the official narratives and even go as far by investigating when MSM outlets wont even do real journalism anymore.

NO, this is how irresponsible speech that causes anguish to the parents of murdered children is handled in the United States per the constitution. These were not public figures, and their lives, and their dead children were used by a self-proclaimed entertainer to sell snake oil on his web site.

???
You'll need to point out the section of the Constitution that covers this.

Sued. Successfully.

That is what happened here. So you are retracting your prior defense of Jones and his slander and defamation? Apology accepted. Now go apologise to the other posters you disagreed with.

Thanks. Have a nice evening.

I think any parent would be outraged at Jones if their child was among one of the victims at the Sandy Hook mass shootings. It's a total lack of respect for the deceased child and their surviving parents. Jones should have had respect and common sense than to make that terrible shooting into a conspiracy.

To sue someone successfully you have to actually win the case, obviously.
As of right now, Jones has not been ruled against in terms of slander and defamation in this case. It remains to be seen if that is the outcome.

Outrage at a lack of respect shown should not be determinent of a legal case.
Personally I find the levels that Jones went to were distasteful, however there were elements of the event that have been discussed in several places. I think Jones should have stopped well short of criticising or implicating the parents - that was just way beyond the pale IMO. Still, the parents will have to show that Jones:

- Published or otherwise broadcast an unprivileged, false statement of fact about the plaintiff;
- Caused material harm to the plaintiff by publishing or broadcasting said false statement of fact;
- Acted either negligently or with actual malice

kellywarnerlaw.com...

Outrage is not going to cut it.

Yah sue someone into oblivion because of a few videos, 20-30 years of work down the drain because of 1 incident.

So you're disgusted - we get it. What does your post of hoping the world burns say about your sanity? You should be bankrupted? Or locked up for being anti-human?

hahahaha

Probably the best thing that could happen for mother earth is for mankind to die out, harsh I know but it could save the planet. Ohhhh and because we have overused antibiotics so much it might just happen once they stop working, which they will, and it’s probably going to be sooner than most people realise. It’s not all bad though, might be something else kills us off before the antibiotics stop working and we all die from infections. Yellowstone could finally pop, we could have a new plague, the aliens might have some sympathy for Earth by doing mother nature a favour

Crowds going in circles around
the firestations were odd. Authorities rounded up nearby people, pedestrians, home and apartment dwellers about on the streets, all nearby the crime scene in order to control any possibile witnesses or actors in the crime.

Alex Jones had denied saying
on-air Sandy Hook didn't happen. There seems there was
another reason for the lawsuit
victory making him the
scapegoat. Perhaps to tell
people the crime was as reported, not the other way.

Its a well known fact that the CIA has had their fingers in news organization since the 1940's. ( Operation Mockingbird )

Why is it so hard to believe that ATS may have sold out or been infiltrated to tow the Govt narrative. Even you may have "sold out"

Who really knows.

But I'll let you do your own googling. Plenty info out there.

Hey, he was half right. They aren't turning the frogs gay, they are changing their genders.

But why?

That's the problem with Jones - often he takes a half truth and exaggerates it to the point where he actually, in my view, destroys the actual message.. which is why I think he may even be a CIA asset.

If he actually was a CIA asset, the case would have been thrown out.

Alex Jones deserves everything he gets for what he done to those families in my view. I hope his entire fake-news empire burns and he is financially crippled.

Some might disagree but that’s my opinion on this, his videos regarding that tragedy we’re disgusting.

Get real. You think anyone believes that you watched them? Please.

Let me be clear, his narrative on this incident sucks.
