The Renaissance of music.... A time when we Loved, the Age of Aquarius.

Thinking of Bands then, the likes of which will never be again.
Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Canned Heat, Ten Years After, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Simon and Garfunkel, Traffic, Yes, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, CCR, Chicago, Donovan, Earth Wind and Fire, Blood Sweat and Tears, Iron Butterfly, CSN&Y and so many more

What would you add to the list ? Feel free to give us your choices.
Just a sampler www.youtube.com...

There are heaps of them...many you never heard of, great bands though..... while still, the thread title is correct.

To me this is the greatest song ever along with Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower. The sound, feel, atmosphere, the vocals of Eric Burdon...

From 1964, The Animals with their version of House of the Rising Sun...

Chas Chandler lived around the corner from me for a while when the band got

together often heard them practising.

My favourite 60s songs span all music genres but my bff was into Motown so that's all I heard when I was hanging with her.

Status Quo

Auntie Nellie

Technicolour Dreams

I could've added Pictures of Matchstick Men as well, but it's well known already and I guess two tracks here are enough for now.
