There are a few ways that I've heard, that I won't go into detail about. A couple of them were pretty surprising to put it mildly.

i would use something to lower the freezing point of the water as well adding super small absorbent materials so it would just fall like microscopic frozen dust maybe even cool the exhaust stream as much as possible

I do know they injected stuff into the Sr71,s exhaust to stop contrails and radar returns.
