I didn't vote for Obama for either one of his terms, but he is a decent, respectful man and therefore I respected him in return.
There is a huge difference between what a person says and what they actually do. Don't be the type of person who thinks appearances are everything,
just because a person is charismatic and well spoken doesn't automatically mean they are a good person, and this is especially true when it comes to
politicians. Obama did many things that contradict the things he said... he oversaw the development and expansion of a massive invasive surveillance
operation, he oversaw a rapid expansion of the drone program, there was a documentary made several years ago showing how countless innocent people in
the middle east had been caught in the crossfire. The Obama administration gave its official support to the rebels in Syria and supplied them with
weaponry and funding, which indirectly supported the terrorist groups fighting along side the rebels. It's believed Obama also approved the U.S.
involvement in the development of Stuxnet, the virus designed to destroy centrifuges in nuclear facilities.
There are countless other things I cannot remember off the top of my head... the point is if you judge a person simply based on their external
presentation you're going to be living in a fantasy world. Looking back now, the amount of lies Obama told and the impact of those lies was truly
staggering, and that is what I find truly annoying when people claim Trump lies a lot. I really cannot wait until the next dem gets into power so I
can pick apart everything they say and remind people of the fact all politicians are deceptive, however I don't believe Trump is the same type of
pathological liar as most other politicians. His motive truly seems to be about putting America first instead of towing the globalist agenda. You
can't always be respectful when your opponents are masters of propaganda and deception, to really get things done like Trump you cannot constantly
worry about about being gentle and soft spoken. It might not look pretty but Trump is fighting hard for better trade deals which don't screw the U.S.
over and it's already having positive effects on the U.S. economy.
He's disrespectful to nearly every one, can't form a coherent sentence to save his life
Come on give the man some credit, he's done very long speeches without a teleprompter without losing his train of thought, some spanning over an hour
long, and he often writes speeches himself. He can say some pretty stupid things like "I have the best words", but I don't judge him too harshly
because he's well spoken most of the time and knows how to get a point across to people in a way that appears sincere rather than contrived and
manipulative like his opponents, as the video from the OP demonstrates.
I do care how the rest of the world views us, and I don't like being a joke. We're a joke, because he's a joke.
Once again appearances aren't everything, some times you have to put aside your ego and stop caring about how other perceive you and just do what you
know is best for yourself. I'm Australian yet I view Trump as anything but a joke, he's a very serious threat to the globalist and socialist ideals
being pushed on most nations around the world, and for that reason alone I have a high degree of respect for him. His ability to cut through the
nonsense to get things done also impresses me, I'm sick and tired of politicians who make endless promises and then get nothing done because they have
no clue how to operate a highly complex organization the same way a business man like Trump does.
