Not sure why you are triggered over this, but do you see this statement as declaring an official Emergency from our President?

Trump said he planned to address the country “on the humanitarian and national security crisis at our southern border.”

Now Lemons quickly suggesting they should delay broadcast so the network can decide what we should hear or not is just spin to suggest the President should be monitored and anything he says should be screened first in his continued attack at everything the President does.

DACA and the wall were each pieces to a larger pie that both sides could not come to agreement on, so it wasn't just DACA there was many other things like doing away with the strict limits on the chain of family migration, end to the visa lottery program, end to catch and release for those crossing the borders and visa overstays, quicker deportation... Also many on the right did not want Amnesty as the left did and so they wanted 10 to 12 years for DACA to work toward citizenship... A lot going on here other than your suggestion Trump didn't want DACA in the end.
