I'm curious as to why the Annoying Orange didn't get his wall pushed through before the Dems took over this month, unless of course he was worried about his own party rebuking the bill, which would be infinitely more embarassing than the opposition doing so.

In order for any funding to get passed, the Senate needs a 60+ vote for it to pass.

Not enough democrats in the Senate would vote for it.

I'm not forgiving republicans because they too want this to be an unsolved issue.

But to be honest, there weren't enough Senate votes.

Some peeps dont seem to know how a bill becomes a law. Which is either 1. Sad, or 2. They know this, but just wanna hate on the T-man, for which one can refer back to number 1.

You need to brush up on the “nuclear option” son. They had the votes, they didn’t feel it warranted using that option. They had house and senate majorities for two years and failed to even make a peep about the the stupid wall. Then, they (the senate) turned right around and passed a bill that they will no longer even allow to be. Brought to the floor, thanks to Mitch. One side is playing politics, one isn’t. Only the hardcore faux news and am hate radio consumers can’t seem to tell which side. a reply to: DBCowboy

Next to none, if we're being honest.

Actually his chances are better since now democrats have the responsibility of keeping the government operating. They can't theo up their hands and go we aren't in charge anymore.

Now as far as the senate they said they will not even consider a bill without wall funding so this may go on for quite some time.
