I dont think these d*ckheads realize its Tennessee. give it time, they'll all have their asses handed to em eventually. It'll make a highlight xmas reel for sure.

The source is supposed to be a deleted Facebook post. In other words, nobody ever seriously planned it, and any evidence that it existed is conveniently destroyed.

And... seriously... think about it: How could any group of 20 people create a "no go" zone in ANY city? First thing that would happen is that they'd get a complaint and the cops would show up and arrest them for loitering.

This may be a non event. But he or she may not be incorrect about a war "brewing".

I don't hate humans. Humans can be misled. But I really HATE the insanity being spread by a vocal minority of the left which the remainder of the left refuses to deal with because "if it gets the Trump supporters riled up, I'm all for it". And maybe secretly, they agree with the actions being taken... Like the Womens March cancelled for too many white faces. No backlash against that major act of racism.

So every Facebook post that was ever deleted (who deleted it? Facebook or Antifa?) was "never seriously planned"? Or just this one?

EDIT Also, Antifa only has 20 members in Nashville? Hilarious but I'm not surprised. Next time you go to a meeting for a headcount, leave a pocket Bible on someone's seat after they get up, then point and shriek "Traitor!!!"

How has no one started shooting these thugs yet?

Because they are only like 15 skinny college guys who like to wear black (emo?) from a couple of California colleges. They're only a threat on ATS and some conservative news outlets. In real life, they don't exist. 'Oh no! There's a little skinny emo kid tellng me to stay our of his no go zone!" Better call in the national guard! LOL

I'm hoping to fly to Nashville to visit a dear friend this year, with luck she will meet me at the airport and drive me away from the no-go zones...I'm a middle of the road politics guy, and British, sounds like I'd be lynched by both Antifa and proud boys lol
Seriously, the anger in US politics is nuts. I struggle to belive it is reeeeeeeeeealy like that outside of the internet...see what I did there.

Nah it's mainly just on the internet. People are really brainwashed here by the news they watch though. They either watch very conservative news and think all Liberals are out to destroy the country, or they watch very liberal news and think all conservatives are out to destroy the country. It's very hard to find and impartial news source in the US.

The bigger problem is they get brainwashed into thinking "their candidate" and "their political side" is never wrong. Bring up something shady that Hillary Clinton has done to a liberal and you'll get stunned looks and questions on if you support Trump. LOL Bring up all the nasty things Trump as done and said, and you'll get a diatribe about Antifa, Hillary and Obama and get questioned on if you are a socialist. LOL

Haha I'll have to ask my friend what affiliation I should pretend to be at a party or whatever!
I agree about the internet thing though, in real life I don't know anyone who gets mad about politics, we might bicker at the pub but it is mostly banter. The left/right divide thing is not so extreme here because we all meet in the middle with some things like tax funded healthcare and welfare benefits for the sick etc.

Just do the summer mate, miserable here in the winter, grey skies and drizzle rain lol
You'd be more than welcomed in any English pub, we have lot of time for our US cousins...I know I make threads teasing US folk but it is tongue in cheek and mostly for a laugh more than anything.

For a deleted post? Yep. I don't think many people saw it, and if it wasn't done by the admins, it was removed by the admins.

I've looked at the Nashville ANTIFA Facebook group (posts get fewer than 80 likes as a rule, from all over the country.) Most of the people who joined don't seem to be active.

ANTIFA as an organization is more active on Twitter and Reddit (and probably Instagram and so forth, but I really don't use those platforms.) Reddit ANTIFA here - as you can see, it's not terribly active or organized and mostly discusses national issues in a (usually) non-inflammatory way.

Berkeley ANTIFA is the most organized and most active group. Their followers are the most "mouthy" and more likely to get into flame fests (on Twitter) and their calls for action are more likely to get people to show up.

It's an old military adage to know your enemy - don't take the word of others but go into the group yourself and observe (without interacting.) If you'd done a comparison of the groups and searches on them, you'd have probably come to the same conclusions.

Or maybe not. I'm an anthropologist and when I look at groups, I study who posts where and what they're posting and how organized their structure is so my understanding's probably different than yours.

I had debated ANTIFA supporters on Facebook once they are very aggressive, racist and rude, insulting to. They pretend to be agaisnt racists yet when it comes down to reality these ANTIFA protesters and their own supporters are more racists then right wingers on some issues.

On hand i debated this supporter who was an supposed comic artist and asked him very friendly questions he lashed out on me after i wanted to know why do ANTIFA protesters always cover their faces with maskes?

"So why do ANTIFA protesters always wear face covers or face masks? do they have a criminal record? or hiding from the police?"

Then i told him, if they have nothing to hide why wear face masks and be normal protesters? like anti war protesters? after a while he lashed out.

They even called me a racist after i asked about ANTIFA protesters, its clear that they hate debating they prefer violent debates.

So far 2 rocket scientists here have blatantly said antifa doesn't exist.

Please, get off my planet.

I'm not doubting for a moment that there's dolts on both sides of the fence, and people who are so angry about things that they lash out at everything. And frankly, I wasn't interested in ANTIFA because they advocate violent methods.

What I'm taking issue at is an "OMG!!! ANTI-CONSERVATIVE WAR ZONE" type headline based on a deleted post in a small Facebook group that's not terribly active being presented as apparent news or apparent fact. Nothing of the sort happened or will happen or could happen, and acting like it's a real threat and they're going to do it seems very foolish. They're crying "Wolf! Wolf!" and there's nothing around.

Now... if they were posting calls on Twitter and elsewhere to show up and start creating such a zone, THEN it's something to be concerned about.
