Ive been reading this site for a very long time so Im pretty familiar with it. Im really disapointed with the heavy super far left angle on most subjects and will correct some of you nutcases whenever required. I have no political affiliation. I used to be Republican until W came along. Am now staunchly independant. Read my bio and learn where Im coming from. I speak from quite a bit of experience. Questions are welcome.

SonofSpy Welcome to ATS.
I think you missed a typo it should read "heavy super far right."
I look foward to having many debates with you.
and just for you

Welcome to the board SonofSpy, looking forward to your input, but an interesting point has been raised. I think the board is equally represented by both sides of everything, yet it will always seem initially there is a strong bias towards the view opposite yours. Over time you will see there are in fact two equally strong voices represented here, amoung memebers and staff.

So just enjoy the debate!

Welcome to the board, we can always use another right-winger. There is a pretty good represeantation of both sides here, but I think the left is representated a little better than the right.

Don't think I'll be bowing, but welcome to ATS anyway.

I used to prostate myself at the altar of W's integrity, but I'm slowly becoming an atheist. He sure beats Kerry though. Looking forward to you cooking politics.

So, Sonof....spy, you no longer bow to King George? Pity. At least you still believe in truth, justice and the more or less...Republican way. I am a Republican who holds many Libertarian beliefs when it comes to personal freedoms and strongly disapprove of a government spying on and interfering with it's citizenry. BTW..welcome. I won't be bowing, however. I'm too old for that nonsense.

No.

General Zod you are not...

You'll probably find alot of members you believe to be leftists are actually quite neutral, but will react strongly to either side to when hearing BS just to level it out.

Anyway welcome.

Be very very wary of Soficrow, Dues-Ex, & Sardion2000, remember that they don't represent all Canadians. Some Canuks are loyal friends & allies to America & Britain. We just keep getting continually silenced or ignored.
Good luck in the fight against the thought police (Left wing lunatics)!

You guys crack me up! I love the fact that most of you guys are Brits it really is good insight as to how the rest of the world views us. American media is quite biased. I watch BBC when I can. I see stuff there I know I never see on American news. Watch for my theory on why we really are in Iraq!

You said that your father was a low level spy for army intellegence. Then later in your bio you said "after my father got out of the navy...." Which is it? Army, Navy or neither. decide which lie you want to tell and stick to it.

It was the Army. Its usually pretty late when I post so I was kind of tired its one in the morning now. I really like the fact that you think Im lying. Id be very disappointed if everyone agreed. So he got out of the Army in 1963. Yes the Army. It is confusing because he ended up an Army guy working at a Navy facilty. I try to drop names and places without getting to specific on names. In the Army he was origainally stationed in Germany. He speaks fluent German and could easily pass as a German native. He was selected for photo reconassance for he had studied photography in college and had an Engineering degree from Louisaina State University. His drafting skills were second to none. If his camera broke he could draft what he was sent to see very quickly and with great detail. His engineering and drafting skills got noticed at higher levels and he got rotated to The Anacostia Naval Yards in southeast Washington DC.

Please dont agree with me sceptic. I need more people like you to tell me Im full of it. It keeps me determined to learn more about the history and political climate of the time which produced men like this. I think Ive backed up quite a bit with facts you can corroberate. Try my Ft.Belvoir nuclear reactor posts. Everybody thought I was full of it until I came across a photo of it on the Ft.Belvoir homepage. Read the post to find out what Im talking about. Its quite a claim that has very good footings in facts.

Text

I have not read all the posts on the site of course but I havnt seen very many that can name places people and things. Im giving up a good bit of some very interesting US military history that my family and many others in the DC area have personal ties too. Im doing everything but giving up private names and phone numbers but wont go further than that cause some of you are probably nutty "government mind control told me to kill you" stalkers with tin foil hats on that think anybody thats been invovled in government work is the devil.

Text

Sceptic I can back up every single claim I make in my bio. Every single one. You can even Google my fathers name and get a couple pages back including biographies. I dont think he ever shot or killed anybody during his days in eastern europe. Hes told me about several close calls crossing boarders and being questioned by east german cops on a street corner but I think thats as close to "cloak and dagger" as he got. But hes got such an "I was just doing my job" attitude about it all that he could have and just dosnt think anything of it. He worked for the US government from 1954 as an enlisted man to when he retired from NOAA in 1988.

Text

Ive asked him many questions about what his career was like. Hell talk about alot. But there are just some things that hell answer with"You know I cant talk about that." I mean come on the man is 70 now and he still cant talk about stuff he did as far back as the fifties. It makes me wonder even more...I know growing up hes had several DoD frends and associates that just "disappeared". As a child I never thought much about it I thought they went on vacation or something. I still dont know what happened to them and of course he still wont talk about it. It wasnt just them that vanished overnight it was their entire families. One day they are there the next their house is empty with a for sale sign in the front yard and not a trace of them at all. Nothing. No furniture no carpets no anything. I credit this to just the way government life was for some people.

Text

Many family friends were Secret Service. I am just itching to give out the street name and zipcode where I lived for 25 years in Alexandria Virginia. It was then and is now nothing but government workers from beginning to end. There may be one maybe two that dont but thats it. In my bio I make the claim that the guy who drove me and my friends to and from Catholic school for three years was Reagans closest Secret Service agent. When he was on duty he was always within speaking distance of the president. If any of you are curious enough look for old news footage from 1984 to 1988 of Reagan going to and coming from Marine One on the White House lawn. The Secret Service Agent physically closest to Reagan was him. I will not drop names on guys like this. You can view the footage and take your best guess. He always said that Reagan was "The nicest guy he had ever met".

Text

Take that as you will but my father couldnt stand Reagan cause he had reduced NOAA's budget and they were making him work longer hours for the same pay. If there are any Cartographers on this site please give me a holler. Im going to ask him some more stuff when I visit him again this weekend but I will let him know what Im doing with it so he may not be too happy. Things should be okay though most of this is stuff hes talked about for years. Holy crap! Its two in the morning! Good night all..
