I didn't mean we should be looking up to the EU. My main point was that we should give them the chance to come to us and make the offer. May walked into this with one goal: Make it Brexit in name only. That was her goal and she was working toward that. My plan would've been to have them make an offer to us and WE decide if its worth the time or not. Legally I think we have to give them some time to make the offer, I'm not completely sure but I think its something to do with fair trade etc and WTO rules which is what we would fall on for first few months or whatever until we have done our own trade deals. May just went in with the idea that without the EU we're nothing and that was the mistake. Trust me of all the things I think about the EU looking up to them is not one of those things.
