There is no such thing as "trump derangement syndrome".

It's simply a little buzz word to criticize those who want our country to actually be great instead of ripped apart by a grandstanding mentally ill, emotionally needy old man and the wussies he hires to do it.

The entire concept is silly as hell.
I guess it makes you all feel better, and you love it because you think it's insulting. Newsflash: No skin off my nose.

Here's to a happier new year than the most ridiculous one ever that has just passed.

I hear there's a "PROTECT TRUMP!" movement starting in Congress.

There are over a dozen investigations currently involving trump, ranging over three states, and you want to protect him?
From what? U.S. citizens aren't protected from their own misdoings and criminality, but you actually believe he should be?

My goodness, maybe his sense of entitlement is contagious. Bizarre.

Here ya go, Read it and weep. He has no way out, and mind you, many of these prosecutors and investigators (most, actually) are of the Republican persuasion, including Mueller.

www.businessinsider.com...

Protect him? Good luck with that. If this man has done everything that he is accused of doing, not only should he be impeached; he should spend the rest of his life in prison.

When other easily-manipulated NPC’s hear this they instantly believe it and their cognitive dissonance doesn’t allow them to be shown any different.
When a low-iq low-info totally-moronic NPC sees

Non Player Character's in video games follow scripts.

Calling people that criticize Trump an NPC is a silly script written on Reddit and disseminated through twitter.

It's part of the "avoid actually facts and substance and dehumanize people expressing opposing views" routine.

You are aping a dictated script while sadly unaware of the irony.

Yeah but TDS, It goes both ways....

So let me add to this a little bit.

TDS does not exist, when conservatives talk about TDS they are implying that their exists a medical condition whereby the afflicted individual has a irrational hate towards all things Trump. Now for this to exist as a actual condition then it has to be recognised by medical science as being an actual medical condition. The truth is that it has never been recognised as such by any reputable source so lets just start by dispelling this idea that it is a real thing when its not, at least not in the way conservatives would like to believe it exists.

So what is it then.

Honestly I believe it is a term used when the argument has been lost, the phase "TDS Strikes again" is used often after a criticism is levelled at Trump, its a lazy argument to explain away said criticism. I say its lazy because what is essentially happening is that those using the phase are using it to discredit the argument being made based on some fictitious condition they have dreamt up. When its looked at from this perspective, which is the perspective of those the phase is targeted at then it comes off as just a stupid childish insult that in no way negates whatever the criticism is.

And I use the word "insult" in quite a literal sense because think about what you are actually saying when accusing someone of having TDS. You are essentially saying that because that person doesn't think they way you do then they must be mentally defective in someway. The arrogance of such a statement then is astounding.

All of this then undermines your argument when someone starts chucking around the around the TDS badge.

Additionally like I said at the top the phase TDS could swing both ways, I could say that TDS is just a irrational inability to recognise any criticism of Trump and defend everything he does. But I wouldn't do that because I recognise that its a utterly stupid argument.

People have lots of very valid and real reasons for criticising Trump, now I do not think for one second that all of it is warranted but at the same time I recognise that much of it is.

So how about next time instead of just saying someone has TDS when you don't like what they're saying you take the time to go get a better argument.

It seems to me the left doesn't like their own tactics of name calling used against them.

If people consider it wise to vet immigrants coming from ISIS and other Islamic Extremist territories more thoroughly they are Islamophobes. No intelligent and rational debate, they are just Islamaphobes.

If you believe that the world climate will continue warming, as it has since the end of the ice age, those that wish to implement a weather tax on your sweat simply call you a Climate Change Denier.

Point out that it's quite startling that a researcher at the CDC admitted to tampering with autism research in regards to vaccines out of pressure to omit the actual findings from their superiors and you are an anti-vaxxer. no debate. No rational discourse, just anti-vaxxer name calling.

Now the strategy has been co-opted by a lifelong leftists turned Republican. The left proved a large segment of the population could be influenced by name calling, and Trump and the Trumpets have proven they can motivate the the rest of the country with such tactics as well.

The NPCs all react twith the same programmed reaction of name calling and we are all NPCs now...

Ah yes. Some deny it, some claim that they are immune, and then there's you.

You just seem to wrap yourself in it like a warm fuzzy TDS blanket in front of a nice toasty fireplace.

Just look at your avatar. Exhibit A

Ever shrinking? It's not shrinking, it's a rotating pool of candidates. They either quit, or get asked to leave, because he's the President, and it's his way or the highway. He has listened to others, and changed his mind on things before, but in the end, it's his choice and you either accept it and go on with your job, or you quit. You can also continue to protest and get removed.

Previous Presidents were used to kowtowing and butt kissing to their staff, as well as from their staff. It went both ways.

I would be the same way. I'm President, "I appreciate your input, but I'm doing this instead. If you have a problem with that, I will accept your resignation, or you can go back to work and remember your place."

Because like it or not, it's a hierarchy. The constitution grants him certain powers, and no one else.

I'm confused... is Trump derangement syndrome mean you're deranged because you like Trump or are deranged because you dislike Trump? LOL

Also is it okay to either like him or dislike him and not be deranged?

Let's say there is 1 million true NPC type people on the left, then I would say there is exactly that amount on the right as well, people that will be for or against any speech, ideology or action good or bad, tribalism political style.

I see it on Reddit all the time from both sides. Libertarians are not the NPC type but some have gone over to Trump to defeat the lunacy of the Left. I think at this point America needs a real centrist, actually a libertarian leftist that respects the constitution close to the center is just what America needs to heal.

I don't know if that person exists and if they did, I don't think they would make it through the primary, we are just too polarized now.

Whew! You had me worried reading that! But it turns out I don't have ODS.

Seriously, as I mentioned in my previous post that was attempting to be serious, the whole thing likely did start with Obama. So your post might not be as much of a parody as you thought.

Most of us in the middle, hope Trump acts on immigration control rationally, improve healthcare and insurance for everyone and rationalize the deficit. However, it is impossible to have a rational discussion with anyone because as soon as you disagree with anything Trump might have said, it is either fake news or the deep state. How is it rational to avoid having positive discourse when automatically a defense mechanism is the response to anything?

As it stands, Trump has increased the deficit. He has not made healthcare better. In fact, instead of trying to make it better, the response was to simply try to repeal Obamacare and then exclaim who knew healthcare could be so complicated? On immigration he has been loud, the policy of keeping everyone out is clear. Is it correct, who knows.

Anyone that doesn't think there might be some validity to the smoke coming up around Trump in the Mueller investigation simply has their head in the sand. The money laundering laws, foreign corrupt practices act and unregistered foreign agent laws are in place for a reason. Under no circumstance can a president be above these laws in the event that proof arises that Trump violated these laws. I am not saying there is proof, but, the convictions of his associates on these charges make it unlikely Trump did not do the same. Notice how I omitted the election issues related to the payments for the pornstars. No one cares and he shouldn't get in trouble for that.

If you think I have TDS fine. But, I suggest that you spend some more time looking at and understanding what is really going on. Trump isn't for the little guy. The tax act they passed helped the billionaire club out big time. the pennies given to the masses in the form of child credits and slightly lower rates pales in comparison to the 1/3 reduction in business tax rates. Immediately after Mitch McConnell started calling for entitlement reform, i.e. cut Social Security and Medicare. If your net worth is under $7-8M, you are going to need those benefits and you paid for those benefits. But, unless your net worth is higher than that, these folks are after you.

To me, TDS just proves to me why we needed and will continue to need Donald Trump.

As TDS is just a symptom of being pummeled by propaganda for years, and people susceptible to such propaganda.

And/or are just flat out Anti-American, and don't believe we have a right to a sovereign border.

But, the sheep regurgitating lefty talking points just make me support my President more, because of how deeply irrational they are and have always been.

I realize I am probably addressing a brick wall here, because you are brainwashed, but TDS is real. Denying it is real does not make it so. Did you forget about the recent Vape Store incident already? It's just one of many. Tons of videos on youtube showing people blow up when they see someone wearing a MAGA hat or shirt. When seeing a logo causes a person to go bonkers, that is TDS.

The rest of your hate filled statement makes it clear you have TDS, and therefore can not accept reality and can not be reasoned with. Each of your posts are the definition of TDS.
