Trump was elected on a promise to build that wall.
It's part of his mandate.
I think the wall a inefficient way to stop illegal imm8gration but that is what the people elected.
Trump not shutting down the government.
It's you hypocritical democrats trying to block what the people voted for.

Why did they need to give him anything? Until today he had a Republican majority in both houses.
The new session of Congress hasn't been seated yet and the Dem controlled House has already done more work on getting us a spending bill passed than the GOP controlled House whose watch this shutdown happened on.
It seems to me it was Trump and his party that dropped the ball and failed to do their jobs. That's not surprising though. The GOP spent eight years doing nothing but shooting down everything Obama wanted. They probably just forgot how to do their job.
Why do people pretend its the republicans stoppong this?
Having a majority means nothing. They need 10 democratic votes.

It's a big drop dontcha think? from $25 billion to $5.7 billion. Reports are now in of his vice president asking for $2.5 billion now... of course Trump drew the line there and denied it.

What on Earth are ya on about? When he asks for funding for the wall, he's asking for the full funding. Come on now, you know this silly.
By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times - Thursday, July 27, 2017
The House approved $1.6 billion Thursday to fund the first installment of President Trump’s border wall, surmounting Democrats’ unanimous opposition and giving the White House a significant though potentially short-lived victory.

He was more than happy to sign off that $1 trillion corporate tax cut but couldn't score a measily few billion for his wall?

How much in billions did he get for the military?

you will probably get a lot of flack over this statement.
The people voted for Hillary. The electoral college voted for Trump. Also, it wasn't a landslide, and far from a record.
Trump won 304. For comparison, Obama won 332 his last term, and 365 his first.

And how many of those "votes" did Hillary and Obama obtained "illegally"?...
After all the DNC has been caught red handed using dirty tactics to get votes illegally...
