I am glad about the demographics of my area though, I've worked in places in Britain and felt like I was in pakistan or somewhere...and I've been to Pakistan.

As for the thread, I think, of course, it is terrible, but, it also sounds like the perpetrator has some underlying issues. The vast majority of Muslims in the UK don't behave like this.

Let's not sensationalize one tiny minority of people acting crazily. Cities have lot's of crime, most of which is committed by drunk locals every weekend.

The arrested people have since been released from custody, officers said.

The suspects were seen going into a property where there was a party.
Officers tried to speak to those in the flat, but when they failed to co-operate 39 people were arrested.

Let's not sensationalize one tiny minority of people acting crazily.

Or make excuses for idiots who think it OK to injure or kill innocent people because of a warped ideology.

I completely agree.

But, there are plenty people out there who want and do, regularly, every weekend, attack people because of the ideology of, 'they looked at me the wrong way', as a for instance.

Sure, attacking people because of Islam is wrong, but, why do you think this whole thing is called the 'war on terror'? Because by highlighting these incidences specifically, more than the millions of other incidences that take place every day, contributes to creating a situation of terror.

I am just saying, to be aware of it, and perhaps be careful not to play into the medias hands, and to promote that state of unrest. Do with that what you will.

It's true though. Population centers represent lots of targets. Cities are bullseyes, ripe for attack. Acknowledging that doesn't imply we condone it.
