I feel ruined, been partying hard this last week with Christmas, my son's 21st birthday, and one of my older brothers staying at my house. I've gone through until dawn 3 times and I'm done. I'm not the youngster I used to be so I'm chilling out with Molly the cat tonight instead. Chilling, I was at a Wedding yesterday, it was fantastic. I did not get home until 1am, and I am usually in bed by 10pm.

5:30 was a brutal reminder, I had a 12 hour shift ahead of me, and also that I am not 30 anymore. I am 47. 7:30 can not come sooner.

Then, few drinks, dinner, watch the ball drop, in New York, and bed shortly after. It will be around 9:30 PM, here in LA.

New Years Eve is my favorite night to get naked and arrested besides Presidents Day.

Definitely, I stopped going out in my 20s when a car nearly drove my friends and I off the road.

So happy, my son just came home early, I can’t take the worrying!

I can't even remember the last time I went out on New Year's Eve -- and I'm still a relatively young millennial. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've ever been out on New Year's Eve. Even when I was in high school I typically found going out and being wild boring and the challenge of staying in with nothing but your thoughts and desperately trying to cling to sanity and self-control the real adventure.

I have totally messed up my sleep patterns partying this week, just woke up 5 am lol, gonna cook a breakfast and stay awake now...glad everyone had a good new years night.

Just one more day.

My son is in Amsterdam with his girlfriend...I haven't had a call from the UK embassy so I assume he's had a good night lol
I stopped worrying about my son when he became bigger and tougher than me. He would whip my ass in a fight these days so I'm more confident for his safety than my own these days.

I partied too much this week, was my son's 21st birthday party on Friday, it went on until 7am...I've been through until dawn 3 times this week, felt ruined...getting old yes haha!!!
Had a brilliant week though and a quiet one last night was the perfect end to the year, 6:30am here now, I've just had a full cooked breakfast and feel happy starting 2019
