I don't really support the feminist cause at all but this video... All this talk of evil and feigned outrage over antisemitism, delivered in a strident, pompous, self righteous tone... He sounds like all the crap I am sick of hearing from the left.

The democrat party today is composed of special interest groups, most of which are naturally opposed to one another. If they do not maintain a laser focus upon their common enemy, this infighting is guaranteed to happen. If and when they take power, their natural aversion to one another will always rise to the surface. Today's extra polarized climate makes this tendency all the worse. We will be seeing some real hatred on display over the next year or two until they can work this out.

Racism would die if people would stop using racism as a scapegoat.

Please...can I get a Leftist to explain to me why this isn't racist and why it makes sense?

Good luck getting a Leftist to explain anything that includes real facts.

Fact. Racism is exclusive, anti-racism is inclusive.

The organizers of this march sought to demonstrate community inclusiveness and realized that they had not achieved their goal, so, they canceled the march.

There is a likelihood that had they gone ahead with the march for all women and few if any women of color became involved the whole march would be accused of racism for being non-inclusive. Either way this has been done.

And by the way, the Washington Times is an arch-conservative information outlet owned by a radically crazy cult (Moonies) so naturally they would spin anything like this to suit their own agenda.

So "inclusiveness" can only be achieved through exclusiveness?

I am surprised they just didn’t hire any people of color to just show up and hang out.
They hire people to show up at all the other sh!t they organize when nobody shows.

They probably have no money. Extreme leftism only profits the few at the top.

I'm white and have never experienced racism against me in my entire life.

Not to say it isn't a thing. But maybe not as wide spread as some like to think.

I live in a diverse, urban neighborhood and have for almost 20 years. I can't believe that anyone who lives an integrated life has never experienced racism. White or black. It defies logic.

Do you segregate yourself????

I mean, I do have some very nice neighbors and most of my experiences in my community are positive....but I have run into many, many racists, over the years, and they were not embarrassed or ashamed to unleash their hate on me -- and in front of my young children, a few times.

Well, you got a star so your question might make sense to at least one person. I don't see how you arrive that that conclusion from my post other than you are just kidding around. If you want to explain how you arrived at that conclusion from what I posted it would help me to understand my own weakness in communicating.

If extreme leftism is socialism and socialism is where workers own their own means of production, just how do you arrive at the notion that extreme leftism only profits the few at the top? Is that not a closer description of the capitalist system? All those big time wealthy people did not make their money at the socialist game but rather by being capitalists.

In the UK the far left Labour Party - the UK version on the Democrats also love to play race-baiting identity politics then be racist towards its white members

More evidence of the anti-white racism that is part and parcel of the social terrorist movement. Unfortunately it is probably too much to hope that the white women who were originally going to march in this will wake up to this fact. They are probably so brainwashed that it is impossible for them to realizer it. Even when the truth, as in this case, jumps up and bites them in the A@@.

"Anti-Racism" becomes racism as we can see here.

It was supposed to be a WOMANS MARCH and they're so hardcore in their tribalism they couldnt even separate the two.

Plus that little angle they gotta have the token minorities.

I cant believe you're falling for this BS.

Next come tell us that antifa is just nothing like fascists as they stormtrooper around assaulting people that dont think like they do.

While I don't wish to split hairs, I also don't think that socialism is extreme leftism. Yes, perhaps some socialists are extreme leftists, but on the whole, I don't class socialism as extreme leftism. I would perhaps suggest communism is closer to the extreme left, but this is all beside the point.

The division of labour and all the wealth accumulated is great in theory, except that we don't all input as equally as each other, so perhaps is a bit unfair. Often though, in extreme communistic societies, ruling classes tend to exist -- even though it is meant to be classless. So in practicality, you find a few at the top with all the wealth and many at the bottom with practically nothing, much like in extreme capitalism.

But really, I was making a flippant remark. Sorry if you were looking for more depth here.

Hope you have a happy new year.

We see a group of people who try to do a potentially good thing. Not everyone wants to be involved, or perhaps many aren't aware of it yet. Therefore cancelled for fear of being labelled racists? Why not keep the march as planned, you know, keep up the momentum so as to attract more people who might possibly be interested next time?

Don't you see how this is ... what is the appropriate word now ... problematic?

I see a dystopian future where no-one wants to do a good deed for fear of retribution.

Going on the asumption that they ARE racist, that is how it can look. And IF they were racist, yes, they would settle for a few ''tokens' to prove that they are not.

However, on the assumption that they are NOT racist, the logic holds. The stated goal was an inclusive march of women to demonstrate for all women. Not holding the rally due to lack of diversity seems rational to me.

But then I suppose it all depends upon just how quickly any of us choose to claim racism. If you wish you can check my posts and I can assure you you will be hard pressed to find where I at any time claimed some one to be racist.

Eureka, CA, where they were having it, is 75% white. Wouldn't you expect a march in that area to be reflective of that community and thus, majority white?

What was wrong? Did they have something like 80% white participation?
