Sure, it's a fine line. But his anger came from not being able to interpret and deal with the confrontation.

I mean, he's nuts either way. He has a real social problem.

This one's not going to make it.

He was screaming like a little bitch, most hilarious thing I've watched this week.
I'd sack his ass if I was his manager, a sale is more important than political affiliation concerns.

I'm thinking his coping skills could use a little work.

Exactly that. If you're going to refuse, you have to think of your own position first. You need to be damn sure your company will back you or be prepared to walk away from it. The first person to be affected is always going to be yourself.

People think in representing a company they can refuse and absolve themselves. It doesn't work that way. You're still responsible for your own actions.

If he had stuck to his guns and disengaged in practice as well as appearance, he'd have some explaining to do, but might have got away with some training.

As it stands, he made a global spectacle of himself and the company he represents. No-one will touch him now.

Needless escalation that could have been easily avoided with a brain cell or two.

I think the business will do fine, because in the end they displayed class and claimed they don't refuse service based on any political affiliation of their customers.

I hope so. Media today is a tricky thing, though.

Just as important, I hope no one else gets suckered into hiring this guy. He's a disaster waiting to happen... again.

For anyone who still doesn't understand why companies don't hire people as easily as they once did... this is the reason in a nutshell. The guy was given a job, and he returned that favor by trying desperately to destroy everything around him. I wonder how many customers before this just shrugged and left... for good, never to return... because they didn't want to deal with him?

I disagree. The employee went too far. It begins to infringe on speech vs service, then morphs into discrimination. I mean, we see things on TV, in public, even at work you may disagree with, are you passive or do you start a s##t storm like the employee? I do agree that the guy recording could have made this employee look much worse but his antics made it worse. A lose, lose but the employee made himself look exceedingly foolish. He assaulted him. That tips the scales.

This event will either cause this establishment to become outcast or popular.
I prefer to former.
Can't support an office with maniac employees.
I would go in there with Trump gear to piss him off, purposefully.

In real life you choose your battles carefully, this was a kid having a meltdown and for you to consider this bullying is pretty snowflakey of you.

Meltdowns like this will only increase with this pampered, pansy generation.

Good lesson for the little cupcake to learn, that in the real world safe spaces don't exist.

And this is exactly why I would have him banned forever from the premises and blackballed. How many people would feel this way? How many would give this store the reputation of being the "home" of the mentally unstable? The truth is the owner immediately fired the employee and issued a public apology to the customer... but who cares about that? For many customers and potential customers there is nothing the owner can do to rectify the reputation created by one rogue employee.

Is it fair that he cost someone else thousands and thousands of dollars, maybe their entire livelihood, just because he wanted to throw a fit? No, it's not... but that may have just happened. There's no way to ever recoup the money lost, either, since he likely doesn't have and never will have even a tiny fraction of what he may have cost that store. Some of the damage will never even be known... most people don't make a lot of noise about why they boycott a store.

On the other hand, perhaps the store will get more business from Trump supporters, or anyone tired of businesses mixing with politics. My bet is the good will outweigh the bad in the end. But that's just my opinion.

Honestly i feel like this one is pretty equal to that.
The guy beats on his chest like a monkey and screams at kids. lol

I haven't seen many of these kinds of reactions from ether side but I am sure there some even better than these two.

I think the craziest one is the girl that throws her own poo. It's in this thread somewhere at the start if you haven't seen it.

I haven't seen it if it has been posted. Ferguson did say he met with the store and all is good and the story already seems to be dying down around here. Gotta love the 24 hour news cycle - always something else to talk about pretty quickly. :-)

Your opinion, and my hope. The store owner is the real victim here.

So what is your stance? You support Hillary/Bernie/Communist/Socialist? Or you a free thinking individual who see's past this BS?
