You're the one playing games.

You are obviously not for border security.

Realistically, we'll never see a wall. It scares those who want open borders because it is effective.

But it is important to support the wall because it forces those who want open borders out in the open.

But you're dismissing DB's and my point as well.

If you are for a secure border, and we know that the border is not secure, then it follows you are either for securing it or not securing it. If you are for not securing it, you are, yes, for open borders. There is no in between. It's like being pregnant: you either are, or you're not. There is no such thing as being a little bit pregnant.

Our point is that if we abandon the wall, what other solution will perform the same function? So far you have not answered me on that. You gave a couple of statements, but when I asked for clarification you dropped the conversation.

We live in the United States of America. We have freedom of speech. You are free to say you want open borders without being concerned over reprisals from our government... many countries do not have that advantage. So either tell me how you think the border should be secured, or at least admit you support an unsecured (read: open) border,

It's not that hard...

The current arrangement is not working in an acceptable way. Not changing it will not cause an improvement.

At least assign some non border states to accept the dumped illegals. There are plenty in the border states. I imagine the northern states are a bit low.

Simple then really.

Prove me wrong.

Just support a strong secure border.

*shrugs*

i already told you
you dismissed that as well and tried to play stupid

legalize? legalize what?

you know damn well what

tax money
enforcing the existing laws
tightening the laws up all around and actually enforcing them
tax money means there can be bodies down there

# like that

go ahead and pick it apart. all the reasons why it wont work and why the wall is the only way to go

i do not support the wall and likely will not support it anytime soon

so i guess we will see what happens

not looking good for your wall so far though

Maybe that is correct. Hadn't really thought of it that way because I thought they were already outed.

Odd problem for the Dems. Blacks have always supported the Dems by a wide margin, but I am reading that they are upset by the Open Borders policy because these days they have jobs and are worried about losing them to the migrants. And a poll out yesterday or the day before showed that second generation hispanic immigrants vote for Republicans by 37%!

So..........you are correct! More reveal is a good thing!

No, I don't. That's what the squiggly thing means at the end of my question.

What do you want to legalize? Entry? Drugs? Something else? Daisies in January? What?

enforcing the existing laws
tightening the laws up all around and actually enforcing them
tax money means there can be bodies down there

What tax money?
Which existing laws?
What bodies are you talking about?

I might be able to agree with you on some of these, but you won't explain it to me. You're not giving me solutions; you're giving me talking points. Talking points are not a solution.

You got nothing. Business as usual isn't going to work. If it did we wouldn't be at this situation.

Lots of citizens want a change. How is it done without a better secured border.

Maybe I'm simplistic or paranoid but that wording comes off as we would never be able to add anything in the future to the border without another nation paying for it.

If so the dnc can go pound sand.

No....
That would mean indirectly Canada is also paying for the wall since both countries are under the same trade agreement.
trump sold you a bill of goods and you just bought right into it.
Mexico paying for the wall would be mexico stroking a check and saying here build a wall or just building one themselves that they control not the US.

You guys are willing to believe straw is gold to stand behind this liar.

I don't follow that logic. How is the same trade agreement forcing Canada to pay for the wall?

If the southern border causes less money to leave for Mexico, does the trade agreement mean less money leaves for Canada too? That's the whole idea of Mexico paying for it: the saving we will gain from dealings with Mexico after the wall is built will more than offset the cost of the wall, so the net effect is Mexico will pay for it. That doesn't mean there will be savings from dealing with Canada.
