This is a nice little rant but if you know anything about the markets you know there is much more to this than a tweet.

Markets were never meant to be so reactionary. What we are seeing is an emotional market. When it returns to a data based market things will change. Look at it this way. What we are seeing is the market equivalent of a liberal meltdown. Once the theatrical histrionics are over we will return to a more normal cycle which will include a first quarter bump due to big business getting new annual budgets approved and new project spending begins.

The final numbers on Christmas sales will also have a tale to tell. Brick and mortar are probably not going to be basking in the afterglow but overall sales will be good this year. Discounts are deep and people are spending. It just takes time.

I do not believe we have reached the bottom of the bear cycle but there will be several short term bottom bounces before the real bottom is reached. Watch the big boy stocks and look for an upward trend in the solid performers of years past. When they start trending up its time to buy - if its not too late already.

Cool. Let it all tumble if necessary. Why should we pay foreigners to regulate the US banking system and effecticely the economy?

Merry Christmas soundguy.

I like the way you decorated the space Trump occupies in your head.

Sad. Is that all you Trumptards got?
You dimwits write the same crap in every tread that is slightly negative towards your man crush.
But you don't have anything against dozens of anti Cortez threads that you participate in

Still better than that commie crone Hillary.

So all-in-all?

Acceptable.

Sucks to be you that you can't heal that butthurt.

There is nothing acceptable, about much of trumps decision making. Why is the deficit skyrocketing under him!

Hillary would have been better than this crook. She may not be great, but trumps economy is, taking its hold, and it's a bleak outlook.

Interesting fact. Most recessions have occurred, under Republican presidents.

It makes a difference to me. I have lost about 20% of my portfolio this week. That is disastrous.

So you want to blame Trump for you losing 20% of your portfolio's value?
FUNNY...I don't recall you ever THANKING Trump over the past 2 years when your portfolio's value was increasing.

Smells a lot like hypocrisy.

the market isn't reacting organically to market fluctuations due to the Fed policy and purchasing up everyone's bad debt

it's got the markets completely fake. this is not a capitalist system is neo-socialist. if the kensyians would allow the market to crash and smarter people to buy up all the cheap assets and build new companies like they should we would have a WAY WAY WAY better economy

this is not an organic market so traditional rules of capitalism do not apply it's propped up by central banks in a you can't fail system that's broken and why my generation is f***** in the long term

thanks guys keep voting these people in

the market has nothing to do with Trump or Obama it's Fed policy dictate to them by the BIS or international bank of settlement's

they are trying to use inflation/deflation and buying up all the bad debt and bailing out corporations to keep the market stable across the globe

if you guys just cut the partisan bull**** for ten minutes and do some actual research you might actually say something that's grounded in reality

The economy was still climbing, when trump took office. It had been steadily growing. trump was talking credit, for much of what Obama already had in place before leaving office.

It had taken trump, less than a year to drive the deficit up 17%. This is his watch. There is a reason, trump has had multiple bankruptcies.

The stock market has been wildly inflated since at least Bush the younger this correction was long over due but economic tricks and outright theft of tax dollars were used to keep it inflated.

just wait when this hit's official bear market territory those pensions are going by by and we are in real trouble

they are trying to stop a total collapse by maintaining the markets until enough boomers die that we can handle the unfunded pension liabilities but it's to late
