Absolutely.
Just as Israel's wall is already proving as we speak, it will easily stop 80-90%.
All the illegals crossing are all taking the path of least resistance, as is natural.
The wall is being put up in these places where the landscape is flat and the climate is relatively temperate.
This will leave the average illegal with the choice of going through mountains or scorching deserts to sneak in, which once again the average illegal
will not be able to do.
Now the ones that are insanely fit can potentially risk life and limb to scale the 30 ft, but that will be few and far between.
Also the well connected ones with cartel contacts will either get to use a tunnel or simply fly over, but once again that will be fewer and farther
between.
With the wall stopping 80-90%, this will free up border patrol to reallocate assets to just those few hot spots where they are still seeing some get
in, thus getting that 80-90% up to 95%+.
In summary yes, and its already been proven by other countries w/ walls, so there really isnt much debate to this one.
