Would a black Taylor have to make clan robes?

I am a supporter of public accommodation. I got “taught” during the bakery episode.

If you serve the public, then you serve the public.

Yes... then "I" do.

Me. Not the federal government, the state, the country or the city.

I do.

So essentially I am not allowed to choose my clientele?

Cold day in hell, there...

Edited to add, I am actually planning when I retire to open a bar called the "Mud Pit".

It will be on my land, which is private property and has no covenants.

I will serve whomever I damn well please.

And it is perfectly legal in my state to do so.

These are some pictures of their work, from their website.

www.brushandnib.com...

It's pretty generic. Hard to see it being too offensive for them to simply write a 2nd female or a 2nd male name.

Would a self respecting clan's man wear a robe make by a black tailor?

If a company doesn't want my business, for whatever reason....

I would simply find a different company to spend my money at.

But that's just me.

True, but I'm going to assume that you currently are not a big part of the War on Christians.

And for the record, not a Christian here.

Just pointing out the obvious slant the left has on anyone Christian.

Not religious by any means.

I believe ALL organized religion is a scam.

Personal religious beliefs are another matter, and are up to the individual.

At the end, if your positive actions in life outweigh the negative actions, you will get where you need to go on your next journey.

I am for equal access and equal rights.

Anything else is discrimination.

Initially I was also for the baker, then a much smarter member than I schooled me pretty darned well.

It’s why I like this site so much.

I learn.

I have learned a lot since I have been a fairly avid poster. Before then I was young and very naive and much more liberal than today.

Hell I’ve learned a lot from those posting in this very thread. I will not name who because I don’t want to give them that satisfaction

But I think you users know who you are!

You need to stop discriminating against the left and your government then...

All things being equal.

I think their type is supposed to be persecuted.

I mean is that not how they get into heaven?

I don’t discriminate with the left. I just violently disagree.

It really takes a special kind of idiot to believe that forcing a company/person to provide you services against their beliefs will get you the best service for your money.

Common sense.

While I agree, extend that thought to not serving black folks at lunch counters.

Equality brah.

I've owned and ran a business. I'm planning on another one. That said, here's the bottom line.

If I create a business, it is MINE. No one else's. Anyone who tries to tell me what to do with my business will be thrown out of it. Period. If the law decides I have to do something against my morals, I will close the doors that moment. Employees fired on the spot. Doors locked behind them. Orders refunded. Done. No questions, no arguments. Just closed.

If I can reopen it somewhere out of that jurisdiction I will. If not... oh, well. The public can do without. I'll bury any plans for future products so deep no one will ever find them.

Bring on the legal crap, and I'll go to jail. Three squares and free medical. And trust me, you'll be paying a pretty penny in medical costs before I give up and die.

That's just the way it is, kiddos. You might as well argue with gravity.

The public, the customer, does have a say.

I guess I will have to be in disagreement with many I usually agree with.

C’est la via.

Now I feel dumb because I was being very vocal in my argument with gravity literally less than an hour ago. My garage door motor is acting weird and I didn’t want to get the ladder.

Funny you bring that up.
