Imagine too, if the wall ever got built, then anyone trying to tear down the wall would be endorsing open borders.

The more I think about it, the more the idea of the wall is brilliant!

Trump logic.... with the money we're going to make on the new trade deal Mexico is essentially paying for the wall.

Who on his wagon is buying that?

Still at 14 million a week it will take them 357 weeks (if my math is right) to get to 5 billion that was requested to build the wall. That's like close to 7 years. 14 million a week for 6.8 years let that just set there for a minute. and that's a small fraction of DoD's budget. I think DoD is 450+ Billion. Actually, that 5 Billion is DoE yearly budget lol.

The target for the go fund me is 1 billion, if it is not met, all donations are returned.

clear as mud....
Im not afraid of walls or ceilings either... Or roller coasters for that matter.

What is clear is that trump is an old man with old fashioned ideas like barriers the chinese built a few hundred years ago.
The money could be better spent on technology to guard the border rather than a stupid wall that can be climbed over or dug under.

I could swear you said the wall was a dumb idea awhile back and your main reason for voting trump was the tax break and Obamacare..

it's funny all y 'all will donate your tax break for a flippin vanity wall for a clown.

technology to guard the border

That sounds so simple and easy....people throw around the word "technology" as if it is a god that snaps its fingers and...shazam!

2,000 miles of open borders will require a physical barrier along parts of it. A physical determent may sound old-fashioned to you, but sometimes a "wheel", as simple as it seems, is still the best tool to use when pulling a wagon (metaphorically speaking).

Britain would build a wall.
Our border force is in Belgium and France controlling entry.
We have got a recent problem of people refusing to claim asylum in France crossing the Channel in small boats though.

In the past 2 or so years I've learned something.
Negativity in the extreme is a reflection of oneself.
I'm seeing posts declaring Brian Kolfage (not even by name) as a scammer/thief completely either unaware or in denial of who this guy is and the simple conclusion that with a fundraiser reaching such magnitude no one could run off with it which is beyond ridiculous at best.
The guy pointing the finger screaming "thief, thief, thief!" is most likely the guy with his hands reaching for your pocket which is why its so inconceivable for these people to understand anyone having good intentions (see TDS).

Anyone discrediting Kolfage has done zero research on the guy...which is pretty pathetic on a forum of so called researchers? most here don't even know it is a 1 billion target? I'll just mark it up as a non msm poll of the border wall?

Briton would build a bridge, funded by ireland, funded by scotland, via taxes.

Everyone paying into this is being played for a fool!

Whoever this is doing this is going to walk away a rich person and make all others look stupid.

I can’t wait for the conclusion of this venture.

yup.
i hope these right wing freak show types dump more money into this scam

1 member on here said they were going to donate 10 grand

please do. please please do

this # is hilarious

Mexico is going to pay for it!!!!!!!!

naaaaaah
lets just fund it ourselves

but yeah. no crowd funding for healthcare or food

As it turns out, the government CAN accept the money but Homeland Security can't (as a department.) It would get put into a general fund, and could not actually be earmarked for any purpose

This is not the first time someone's tried this and run up against the same thing. This group also tried to crowdfund the wall and has run up against problems. I'm not sure where that money's going.
