Eggnog Yea or Nay?

Personally I love the stuff. The thicker the better.
I love the smell, the flavor, how it looks just everything. I love that is
usually only available during the holidays. It makes it extra special.

I am always amazed when people gag or say how much they hate this delicious stuff.
Some even say it is slimy. What! Are they tasting the same stuff I am?

Splash a little rum or bourbon in it and Lawd Have Mercy!!!!!!!!! umm umm mmmm!

People either love it or hate it, there is no middle ground. Very similar to opinions on Cilantro, which I also adore --- in huge quantities!

so what say You, Yea or Nay?

Hell yeah!!
I have been drinking it everyday for the last week hoping to gain a few pounds.
Might even add a splash of spiced rum tonight!!

I used to make my own but haven't done that in a very long time.



Its also good in coffee!!

I like Evan's eggnog with Southern Comfort! I couldn't
find it this year and settled for another brand.

When I was in my early twenties I used jack in my cereal followed by eggnog!

It was freaking gross lol

We have a local dairy that makes the best cheese and also produces really good milk and cream. They do eggnog for a precious few weeks every year ...

BEST. STUFF. EVAR!

Diet or no, we've gone through three quarts of it since Thanksgiving. It's hard to save room in my calorie budget, but I do.

Captain Morgans original spiced rum.

I don't drink rum often and I didn't buy it....I am a vodka kind of guy.


Egg nogg and spiced rum...can't go wrong!!

I'm the only one in the entire family that likes it....only drink it with rum...too thick otherwise.

I used fireball whiskey on my last batch, It is now the go to mix for egg nogg...the cinnimon is a perfect addition.

if you only have something once a year, and then only for the sake of tradition, its probably not good.
ive never tried eggnog for that reason.
and turkey, its just second rate chicken, if its so nice, why only eat it at chrismas?

OMG, eggnog is repulsive. The texture, the smell, it's a hell of a disgusting package. If you have to booze it up to choke it down, it's crap, people.

Perhaps you’re the one without tastebuds ? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love the stuff in small doses, as it is very rich. It’s great with spiced rum, or just by itself.
Wouldn’t be Christmas without a carton of the stuff in the fridge.

Yeah, I've said we've gone through 3 quarts, but a 4oz tumbler is enough to take care of me for the evening.
