You're deflecting.

Pundits, CEO's and influentials have decided paths forever.

Back to the point, you're selling us on Syria.

Or are you selling us against someone you hate so much Syria is worth it?

General Jim Mattis will be retiring, with distinction, at the end of February, after having served my Administration as Secretary of Defense for the past two years. During Jim’s tenure, tremendous progress has been made, especially with respect to the purchase of new fighting....
equipment. General Mattis was a great help to me in getting allies and other countries to pay their share of military obligations. A new Secretary of Defense will be named shortly. I greatly thank Jim for his service!

Another job to fill.

Sky is reporting his resignation letter says he's stepping down so that Donald Trump will have a defense secretary with views more aligned to his own.

Confirmed.

Trump needs to pardon Flynn and put him in the post...

It's a civil war.

You are for nation building now?
Lemme guess, you see a "new world order. . . . "

I'm for America, and that means basing military policy on what is best for our geopolitical strategy. That means securing influence and backing allies. Pulling out and leaving our allies to die is contrary to both.

Ah yes, the classic "lets worry about the country with a GDP less than Texas" defense.

The longer we promote instability there, the more Syria asks Iran for help. Iran would be thrilled to do so as it gives them forward positions on Israel. Israel has demonstrated that won't fly, and puts the whole region in jeopardy.

So do you want to just continue keeping Syria in a stalemate? Because that's all we've done, or would you like to tell us the endgame.

At first it was, "Trump is going to start a war!"
Now it's, "Trump wants to stop a war!"

But it's ALWAYS, "Orange Man Bad!"
The ultimate crux in this entire ordeal.

but it was a dumb point, straight up.

He said she said on TV, blah blah blah.

We're talking about pulling out of Syria, who gives a crap about Putin? I swear, ya'll leftist kepted saying his name actually maybe LIKE SOME PUTIN.

It's shameful and ironic, those that scream Russian collusion, themselves wish to mimic a similar system under communism, its whacky and far out.

Unless you want full fledged war and Assad over thrown, there is no other option other than continued stale mate.

ISIS is a brand name on an ideology.

The more you fight that ideology, the more it justifies their motives.

In this case, you' HAVE to overthrow Assad, you can't have it any other way.

Syria and Russia have long had deals and I believe one Russian port exist there already.

One of those, we spend MORE money to fight this one WAR and secure our position.

Sure, we use to do that and probably still will, but Syria? Nah, its an expensive uphill battle that will cost more dollars and American blood.

I get it, daily combat rotations keep a countries troops Sharp and maintain real combative Edge experiences, but long term? Give it a break.

Truth is, we should focus on China and not Russia.

I don't know if this is simply over Syria or if it is over Trump's general disregard for our allies across the globe. He has trashed the UN, he has trashed NATO, and the list goes on and on. That is not the way Mad Dog rolls.
