This is not a question about withdrawing from Syria.

This is a question about how we do it.

The immediate withdrawal President Trump has commanded is abandonment of allies and a forfeit of US power in the region. It is precisely what Vladimir Putin demanded a week prior to President Trump's announcement.

The United States could have very easily negotiated an exit that included safe passage of the local forces that were aiding us in the region and pressed for a political solution to Assad's dictatorial reign that has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and caused the largest migrant crisis in decades.

President Trump simply folded on behalf the of the United States and all of the US promises to it's allies were forfeit.

What caused the largest migrant crisis in decades was a bunch nations with no morals arming, funding, training, and providing logistical/intelligence support to headchopping foreign mercenary terrorists as a means to try to depose a legitimate government that they could not "legally" depose using the united nations.

That you don't see that renders everything else you said meaningless.

Isis was not present when Assad began killing civilians and torturing children of dissidents.
It wasn't until the civil war was in full swing that Daesh arrived.

The uprising began in March 2011, Small numbers of ISIS fighters (a couple hundred) arrived in the spring of 2012 over a year later. They were tracked by Assad and Turkey.

Only a few generals and commanders rebelled agaisnt Assad. Not Army. But according those on the ground in Syria, those generals were bribed to rebel agaisnt the Syrian gov.

They were given bribes,Money and hotel rooms in Turkey/Arab gulf states. Majority of Syrian generals stopped rebelling agaisnt Assad when they noticed on just who were the rebels in early 2013/2014.

When Rebels were committing war crimes agaisnt Syrian civilians in Aleppo the Mainstream News Media was very quiet.

Saddam Hussein was the leader of Iraq, Bashar al-Assad is the leader of Syria.

The Free Syrian Army died in 2012, assuming it was ever anything but a western intelligence front. After that it was a just another extremist Islamist faction. It merged with the Al-Nusra dominated Army of Conquest in 2015 except for the elements bribed by the Turks.

The Syrian Democratic Forces are nothing but a front for the YPG terrorist organisation. They get a lot of good press in the west for some inexplicable reason considering their main goals are the ethnic cleansing of Arabs from Northern Syria and Imperial expansion into Iraq. Which doesn't make them very popular with the Iraqi-based Kurdish PUK and KDP
