Surf boards now have built in technology and GPS to tell the surfer exactly how fast he or she is going.
There have been faster. But these are not on giant waves.
Fastest on record was 39.1 KM/H.

With tow-in surfing (which is what this is), the boards have foot straps, and are very small compared to paddle-in boards.
