Since it listens to everything, it hears her when you're not there, it already has the inside scoop without even needed to get super fancy predictive algorithms.

Right, but don't forget your significant other will always be listening to you with Alexa on! "Alexa, has my husband had any other women over that I don't know about?" I don't agree with cheating, but man! Alexa is like a spy!

Your smart TV is like that too. Since thse Alexa type things are all over plus hooked into other networks, can you ask questions about other people? Family members? People from a different town?

All these giant tech companies get tons of cash from the govt in return for spying on us. The govt finances then yet they are still private companies? And we have no say over their action? I don't think so.
